I can see Cooper's ribs, I'm kinda worried about him. A few group of people would go "Wow, he's thin!" and then another would go "Vizslas are usually thin like that...". That kinda got me worried. The Vet hasn't mentioned anything about it, and he seems like a good vet. Also, I've never seen another Vizsla before in person... this is really getting me worried. Tomorrow I will show a side shot of Coop

Healthy Vizla pups - and dogs - do tend to be very lean. As long as he's got plenty of energy to play and run, I wouldn't worry too much, Richie ;)

But do post some more photos of Cooper :D

Vizlas are very lean in general. In fact, I think this is about the only dog breed I've come across where they aren't generally obscenely obese. But, we require many pictures to make an accurate judgement.

keeping Victor's ribs from showing has until now been a huge challange. He was good until spring then romped off anything we gained. I switched him to Innova and he is doing much much better. Pointers in general are thin..but rib deffination is another matter. There are lots of things you can add to their food to help with the high metabolism burning..you should ask Mordy or check in the nutrition part of the forum.
forgot to add..you never ever want to let a pointer get heavy, their joints are made for flight not for bulk.

He looks good to me! Zeus has the exact same build. If you look close at the picture in my sig, you can see the shadows where his ribs are.

Yeah he looks a bit skinny to me too, but it's so hard to say with pups... What do you feed him? Might be he's growing up too fast to have time to get a little fat.

Yeah, he's growing real fast, I'm feeding him Royal Canin, but he won't eat much. I have noticed some more muscle is in his back legs, tho...

Maybe try throwing either some good canned food or some healthy table scraps? I know my grandma's dogs always loved it when us kids came to visit because they got what was left in our cereal bowls and dinner plates.
