That is soemthing i have never understood about pit bull fanciers - this emphasis on colors over temperment. I got my pit mix mojo who is a red nosed - chocolate brown with white markings and all i ever hear is about how i should feel so fortunate that i have a red-nosed pit. I generally tell whoever that I am talking to that i could care less what color Mojo is, but i do feel fortunate that he's not dog aggressive, he's not human aggressive, he's a stable, smart, sweet and overall good dog to have. To me the temperment of a dog will always be more important than the coat it wears.

Which is actually how i wound up with my dog - i was looking for a dog with certain temperment qualities over physical qualities or breed. Because I was looking "outside the box" i found exactly the kind of dog I wanted without knowing much about his breed.

It is also my personal opinion that the focus of so many breeders on physical attributes is what is destroying temperments in many breeds not just in the bully breeds.

But that is an opinion for another time.

I guess I would ask why is it you have to have one of her puppies?

If it's because you love her so much, that isn't a good answer in my opinion.
I always tell people, you like my dog? Go to the breeder.

Reproducing a dog, any dog will not give you an exact duplicate.

Just something to think about
