Need you ask? A DALMATIAN!!!! :D

Then a Dobe.... I would prefer a red. Ilsa and Ronin have completely won me over and now I can't even imagine why I ever wanted a black one. A nice show crop, elegant head, cat feet, and well-defined, small markings. *drool*

Then a Bloodhound. (Or a Fila that was less of a Fila type and tended towards looking more like a Bloodhound... basically any breed that's similar to bloodhounds.) I love them. The wrinkles, smooshy faces, bone and substance.... now THERE'S breed to drool over, lol!

After that, a Saluki.. but not a smooth one. Then Collies (smooth or rough - it's the faces, not the fur, that get me), Greyhounds, Tollers, a well-bred black and tan coonhound, a well-bred GSP, a well-bred Great Dane (no crop), or a smooth JRT. I'm not picky about colors in any of the last few breeds... it's more of how they are built than color that gets me.

Chinese Crested...and I will likely get one at some point

Malamute. I've had one before and would like one again but not until I have a house.

German Shepherd, Siberian Husky, Alaskan Malamute, Czech Wolf Dog. or any other dog that looks wolf like.

I don't want to own a wolf or a hybrid I just love the look of wolves

Saluki or Deerhound (Afghans have a bit too much hair, but that might be a grooming and not appearance issue).

Dals are real nice, and a Great Pyrenees. (Saints too, but they're a better temperament for me, so they loose in this competition!)

Edit: Dingo. Have to love the primitive breeds.

If I picked by appearance alone with no regard for temperament or health issues, I'd have a Siberian Husky, fawn or blue Doberman, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Dalmatian, or an Ibizan Hound. I'd still have Tollers too, of course - I love their appearance. And probably a lot more... there are ton of breeds that I love as far as appearance goes. I actually could easily own a Dal, and I'd love to have one at some point in my life, but not anytime soon. I could own a dilute Dobe too, but I don't want to deal with the potential for skin/coat issues.

Rhodesian Ridgeback would be number one. A lot of other smooth coated sighthounds, basenjis, maybe Appenzellers would round out the top ten list.

By Shape: Great Dane, Dobe, Golden or Dalmation.

By Looks: Newfoundland, Great Pyrenees or Aussie. I LOVE the look these breeds give off when looking at one. Such power and leadership.

Though, my heart will always go with a Border Collie. Here's the kind of BC I really like the shape/look of: the shorter muzzle/smaller body.

I love Briards, but I don't think I could deal with all that hair. A Briard breeder used to live down the street from me when I was younger and I used to go to shows with her. I love thier temperments too. She also had a Newfie that she did obedience with. Newfs are another one of those admire from afar breeds.

Standard Poodles are great. I love Harlequin Great Danes. I know there are some that I am spacing off on.

The breed I already have - Collie Rough. I really still don't think there is any breed that can top the look of a gorgeous sable or blue merle Collie :)

I also LOVE Salukis, Long haired Weimaraners, Borzois, Malamutes, or a long haired GSD.

Call me crazy, but I always thought that the Kuvasz is the most visually stunning breed. They just look so dignified and noble! :)

Going by looks alone, definately a Saluki or Chinese Crested. I just love the way they look. But I also like the looks of aussie, irish setter, great pyrenees and flatcoated retriever.
