When I was 21 or so, I didn't have an opinion formed about BSL. Now that I've learned all the facts and many years later, I'm a supporter. There is more than one opinion in the world on the subject.

I'm a huge dog lover and fight to make sure they are well treated. I educate people about their food selection, dog care, grooming, etc when they need assistance and foster animals in need when I can.

I want restrictions placed on DA breeds. Period.

As a matter of fact, several rule violating posts WERE made on this very thread and were ignored deliberately. BSL in any community makes about as much sense as banning ALL human children ... just because a FEW are juvenile delinquents!

And there you have a very common misconception. BSL does NOT mean banning a breed. Breed Specific Legislation is what it stands for. It COULD mean banning or it COULD mean mandatory registration for anyone owning a particular breed.

Mandatory registration for owning a particular breed. There is NOTHING morally wrong with that and it might even prevent a few irresponsible owners from picking up a dog they can't handle.

Why do trolls do it?
I believe that most trolls are sad people, living their lonely lives vicariously through those they see as strong and successful.

Then it was "License and ban the breeding of them." Then "License, ban breeding and muzzle." Then "GIT THESE HERE DOGS OUTTA MY CITY". Ontario and Denver already have gone to the extreme and are simply killing every pitbull they find within the city limits. So, yes, you do want our dogs killed by saying that you support BSL. THIS IS THE WAY THE TIDE IS TURNING and it's because of dumbshits like you.

YOU ARE NOT AS EDUCTATED AS YOU THINK. Educated people do not vote for the DEATH of beloved family members because they don't like that breed. I personaly dislike many breeds. I would not own these breeds, mainly because they've bit me on multiple occassions. But I am not going to be as asinine, crass and unfeeling as to take away someone's chosen breed because of my personal experiences and bias.

I've said this to another idiot ex-member who supported BSL and I'll draw the distinction again. Why don't you just go ahead and ban all black people? After all, black people are the cause of violent crime and it's well known that having a group of black people around means that sooner or later, someone is going to get killed, because that's what they do. Black people are vicious killers and are a menace to society.

Do you see how d*mn silly that sounds? It's no freaking different than replacing the term "black people" with "pitbull".
