If I Keep This Up I Am Going To Be Broke!!!!

Not that I care about the money issue of having 7 dogs, but I went to go buy more dog food today and the price of it rose from about $75 including tax to $88 plus tax in 2 weeks, for a 30 lb bag. If I keep buying this food it will cost me $200 every month for 60 lbs of food! I wouldn't have a problem paying it if it was a really good quality food but it isn't. At least I am definately not happy with it anyways. It is Medi-Cal and I do not like it in the least, but it is the best we have here, so I am on the fence as to what to do. I have been trying to find a website in Canada that I can order Canidae or Innova from, but I am having no luck with that. I would rather order directly from the internet rather than having to call a pet store somewhere else to have it sent. It is just more convenient for me. Anyways I am done whining now. So if any of you wanna give me your opinion on Medi-Cal or let me know where I can order a GOOD food from please let me know.

You could try http://www.dawgfood.com/ep.htm They have Canidae and Eagle pack and free shipping in the Western US. I typed in Canada and they didn't add on shipping charges. It may be worth a try.

Also, can you order off of Amazon? They carry a lot of really great foods and the shipping is usually reasonable.

Oh wow, yeah I just tried it and it didn't add shipping. Hmmmm it would only cost me about $55 Canadian for a $40 lb bag. That is a bargain I tell ya lol. Yay I am so excited now lol. Thank you so much.

Grrrrrrrrrrrr. I just got crushed lol. I phoned them to see and they don't ship to Canada at all. Thanks anyways showpug. Guess I better keep looking!

I think it is only American because I went to sign in and it was only states listed. Darn!

Yup, I think I am going to have to go with that one. It will cost me about $87 for the 40 lb bag of food and shipping but it will also last me a month. I was paying $100 every two weeks for the 30 lb bag of Medi-Cal!

Oh well what the heck. Do you know if it would be cheaper from there than from petacular. It would cost me $87 for food and shipping from there for Canidae.

Hmm, it is letting me now but it says that USPS Global Mail is not available and that is the only option for shipping.

It is S9H 3N9 but it says that USPS Global Express Mail is N/A and that is the only option it gives me. I think I may have a hard time finding a company in the US that ships to Canada unfortunately.

I just called them. I am on hold with them right now and i'm going to ask them if they ship to Canada. Fingers crossed. I will let you know what I find out. I just want to say how greatful I am for you two helping me. I appreciate it more than you will ever know.:hail: :D
