It was horrible! He came out of nowhere, and just... ATTACKED ME! And he was HUGE! I took photo's for evidence.

I was sitting there, minding my own business, when he came up from behind me and tried to strangle me!

We wrestled to the ground, and he eyed me down intently. I think he wanted me for lunch.

He spotted the camera, and covered his eyes. He didn't want anyone to recognize his vicious face!

We continued to struggle, and he tried to smother me to death with his massive face!

Afterwards, I knocked the vicious pit bull unconscious...

And in doing so, thought I'd have a little fun with his floppy-tongue-o-horror...

Then, I came to the conclusion that he was just a misunderstood pit bull. So, we became friends...

And then he gave me a hug, and nearly broke my back in the process.

The End.

Terrifying! Are you OK!? Someone should really control those deadly stray pit bulls. I'm glad you two worked it out in the end, that could have been disastrous!

OMG! That must have been horrible! I can just imagine all the therapy you are going to need to get over it!!!

He's cute!!! :)

If you don't mind me asking, what happened to him? I'm not trying to be rude, and I'm sure you've probably posted about it before...

He may still be dangerous. While he appears to be sleeping and even looks almost friendly in some of those pictures, vicious pitbulls have a way of faking you out and then BLAM!!!!

You better send him to me. I am a trainer, experienced in alpha rolling beasts like that floppy tongued monster in the photos.
I'll head to the airport now..... SAVE YOURSELF AND SEND HIM NOW!!!!!:D

No, it's okay, I'll copy and paste it. No idea why it's malicious, just doggy photo's, LOL! Weirdness. :p

Blue is an 11 year old Pit Bull, who was adopted into the family in March of 2008. Blue lived at my vet for the first 10 years of his life, after he had been abandoned there when he was a puppy, 10 years earlier. Someone had brought Blue in when he was a puppy, claiming he had been stepped on. Blue's face, mouth, head, ear and eye socket had been completely crushed. The vet fixed Blue up as good as he could, but the guy who had brought Blue in, left him there and was never seen again. Blue cannot open his mouth more than a 1/2 inch, because his mouth had fused shut, which is why his tongue hangs out. He slurps up his food and water, and swallows whole, but never had a problem and adjusted wonderfully. Blue is a goofy boy who thinks he is 1/50 of the size that he really is. He lays in your lap, and wants nothing more than to be scratched on his belly, and to follow his humans everywhere they go.

Poor doggy... How can people be so horrible :(
It's true. :( But what makes my day is people like FZC who not only rescue these guys, but post pics of them being absolutely goofy, silly dorks who love their new lives despite what life's handed them in the past. :Mr-T:

(also WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME about the Mr. T icon.)
