I think Peeta and Gale weren't cast right, either. I do think Peeta should've been young, as he was, but in the books he was one of the townfolk and was fed better than the likes of Katniss and Gale. Gale was supposed to be a bit older, but he still looked like a teenager too.

Even Katniss and Gale weren't as bad off as most, since they were able to hunt, so I can understand their characters being a bit plumper than others. But it all just looked too pretty for me to believe it. I don't really think they could've successfully portrayed Katniss as starving and still appeased all the fangirls who wanted to see a beautiful heroine and her equally beautiful love interests.

Yeah, I never pictured Gale or Katniss as starving. I know at one point they were, but that was what made them so strong. They started hunting and ate...had access to what many others did not.

I imagined Rue as native american looking or something of the sort. But the girl they had playing her was really perfect imo. I actually thought the whole thing was cast well. Stupid ignorant people...

I will say that Cinna in my head was more along the lines of a young Tim Gunn. lol
