Gunner was restless last night and this morning. I felt him all over and the left side of his stomach is hard. He has not thrown up or anything. He is just about to turn 5 I don't know if this could be bloat, cancer, or pancreatitis. the ER vet wants money up front and sadly I don't have it but he will be brought to his regular vet in the morning because he will let me post date a check. I am so scared!

Sending some vibes for Gunner! I would be incredibly scared as well, so we'll all be keeping our fingers crossed and saying a prayer that Gunner will be okay until he can get to the vet tomorrow.

Thanks! he went to the bathroom twice and it was normal and he ate chicken and rice and he has not been vomiting. I just hope it is nothing serious I just lost my other Golden Brody last year April 17th I can't take losing another one. I'm doubting it is bloat since he is able to eat and go to the bathroom.

Sending vibes for Gunner and hugs to you!

I wish ER vets had some other options for paying, especially since it's so expensive to just walk in the door.

Hopefully it's something easily remedied.

Not sure if it's an option, but for future issues, most e-vets take Care Credit and you can apply online or over the phone.

I brought him in yesterday and they found a large mass in his abdomen but down closer towards his bladder. They want to do exploratory surgery on him next Tuesday and hopefully remove it. I'm sorry I did not get back on here to post yesterday but I was in shock. Does anyone have any experience with anything like this? The vet told me they can't always remove them and we would just have to make him comfortable for the rest of the time he has left. He is only 4 that is why I opted to do the surgery. I'm not able to come up with the money $1320 until next week. He seems okay happy and eating but he is restless especially at night. Just pray he can make it until Tuseday and then through the surgery.

Sending vibes!

We just had a case like this in our clinic a couple of weeks ago. 13 lb cocker mix had a huge tumor growing on her ovary. It was about the size of nerf football when we took it out. After surgery she has bounced back and is like a whole new dog.

Thank you all! I sure hope he does bounce back. He is still eating normal and even wanting to play with the other dogs but I'm keeping him quiet. He is uncomfortable and gets restless at night. I will update about his surgery tomorrow.
