I need help again!

OK, for some reason I still can't post a poll in this forum, so I'm going to present and old-school poll! It's not long or anything, so just cast your vote in a post and let me know what you think!

I already threw a poll out there asking peoples' opinions on prospective registered names for my puppy (Who's coming home in 7 weeks! Yay!), but I am having sooooooo much trouble deciding on his call name! I have been bouncing back and forth between my two top picks for MONTHS, but I just can't decide!

Hopefully when I know which puppy is mine and I spend a bit of time around him, it'll become clear, but if not, and in the meantime, I need all the help I can get!

So, which name do you prefer for a male Weimaraner?

Yay! I'm so glad people are finally appreciating Slade! So many people have totally dismissed it when they've asked me what I'm thinking of naming my puppy. I was starting to feel like it was a crappy name, and secretly everyone in the world knew it but me! LOL

The first place I ever heard it was on The Real Housewives of Orange County. *blushes profusely* LOL One of the uber rich guys on the show was named Slade, and I remember thinking "That's guy's got a dog's name! Hey waaaiiiittttt . . . a dog's name!" And just pretty much liked it more and more from there. I don't think it suits any dog, but fits for a Weim.

I go for Slade too...the name is masculine which I think appropriate to your male Weimaraner...And as far as I know Slade means valley...so best for a hunting dog which a Weimaraner was...

It does mean valley. I contemplated working that into the registered name somehow if Slade is the winner, but it didn't work out in a nice way. If his name does indeed end up being Slade, his registered name will be "Colray's Titanium Blade"

Slade..but which one are you more comfortable standing in the middle of the dog park, calling? Grayson.. seems a little obvious.. gray and son.. lol.. I too thought Slade was a dogs name when I heard it on the show! Our local Weim.. is Skootch Ballbuster.. lol.. don't think that doesn't turn a few heads at the park!
