For those of you who are wondering what the Hudson-Tosca connection is, Rachael and I have a regular blast feeding each other's blogs. I'm telling you folks, if you like to write and need a creative outlet and can think like a dog, it's absolutely a blast!

KidsandCollies, I cannot tell you how good it feels to hear something like that from a collie veteran. I hang on the words of the collie people on this board, and that also means you. Unfortunately I do suspect my dog's IQ is higher than my own. lol.

We love to play tug the bath towel around here. Basically, I've taught mine that we get dried first, then when I release them, they can tug on the towel. It's their reward for being good. :)

Tosca sounds like a fun girl!

I have an update on this! Who says dogs aren't smarter than people? I was all worried that I wouldn't be able to dry her off with a towel again because she was going to insist on playing Towel Tug again due to my own stupidity. Well it didn't happen. Tosca got the point. It rained this morning and I didn't look forward to the thought that I had to dry her off now that I managed to teach her that towels are for Tug.

In we came and she stood there like a saint while I dried her. Not a single problem. It was as if there was never a problem. God I love this dog.

Problem undone and training lesson learned for me.
