Ok, so it's actually Daniel's dog, but still, it's going to be Sawyer's "half-sister". They've met and get along pretty well. Sawyer doesn't know how to play well when he's on a leash, but it worked. Here's her picture:

Help us think up some good names...Sissy just isn't going to cut it. Maybe Laredo?

The funny thing about all this is that I went to Animal Haven this morning to drop off a bag of food for donation and my car wouldn't start when I came out. So I called Daniel to come either fix it or pick me up. I had already noticed the dog out in the play yard and casually pointed it out to him; he said he had already been looking at her. :D Nothing happens without a reason.

MISSY would be perfect. Sounds enough like Sissy that she will know you mean her. When I got my rescue Whippets, Mandy's name was Sandy. Easy changer there. I think Buster was Bruiser or some such stupid thing. He became BUSTER BROWN, THE WHIPPET OF REKNOWN. He LOVED it, rofl. And Mandy is "Demandin Mandy".

Manchester: I don't think she'll have trouble adjusting to her new name, whatever it may be. Sawyer was known as Poncho in rescue, you call him that now and he just looks at you with his head cocked.

Names that will not work: Sadie, Maggie, Molly, and Bailey. Those are the four most common names that come through work and I don't want this dog getting mixed up with them.

Fran: More pics when I find my charger so the camara will actually work and we will probably go pick her up tomorrow. She needs a bath something fierce too, and a good dog food. She's not skinny but her coat is in terrible condition. I think that picture was taken a while ago.

That little girl is adorable! But her name....no.

LoL, sometimes I wonder where these rescue groups come up with their names. When I got Zeus, the name the foster home had given him was "Dudley". Ick. I like unusual names, but I'd never name a dog Dudley.

How about Diva? She certainly has the look of one.

Congrats! Hunter found me on Petfinder.com, too!!! :D

p.s. she's a pup... she'll adjust to any name you give her. My Yogi was "Boy" when I got him from rescue

Daniel keeps telling me he's going to name her "Booger" unless I come up with some spectacular. I will not be mom to a dog named Booger!
