Well I did, and I didn't... :D

Next year my mum is thinking of spending alot more time down here in France than usual, so in order that she can do her work from home she needed a better computer, apparently my little laptop just didn't cut the mustard..

So when they came down to visit they brought a brand new PC complete with windows 7, which I have now set up and I am using it right now, must admit I am so far very impressed with windows 7, it's very user friendly, it's the keyboard i'm not doing so well with.. lol.. I suppose i'll get used to it in time.

Anyway this all means... I can now share PHOTO's!! :thumbsupsmileyanim: Because I now have USB ports that work, not that I need them with this swanky bit of kit because it has a place to put my memory card directly into it!

HOORAY FOR MOMS! :D

What type of keyboard is causing you grief?

I can't stand using a laptop keyboard, the keys seem so close together and my nails hit keys I didn't want to hit! LOL I've also used the "ergonomic" keyboards that are supposed to be better for your wrists/hands and just couldn't get used to the "bend/slant" of them.....drove me nuts (at work) until I traded a lady who LOVED them for her NON ergonomic one, teehee

I had a laptop before, so the space between all the keys is now messing me up royally! My little tiny pudgy hands are having difficulty spreading enough to reach all the keys! :rofl1:

I suppose I will get used to it in time, and not look like such a ham fisted pleb!

Yes, and once you DO get used to it the laptop keyboard will feel horribly cramped and aggravating!

I use Kevin's laptop once a week to IM with Jess while we watch Biggest Loser.........ARGH, it drives me insane! He has been asking me for YEARS if I'd like my own laptop.........NO I WOULDN'T! LOL, I can see the need if I traveled or was in school but I'll stick to my desktop tyvm :)
And if I DID have a laptop, I would definitely want a usb mouse because I also don't like the touch pads! hahahahaha......much better than the little "joystick" that used to be common, but BLECK to touch pads too!
(sucks to be old and set in my ways!)
