What do you do when your puppy enters one of her Hyper Puppy Bouts??? Do you do some certain activity, do you try to calm her down. How do you handle it???

When mine was a puppy, I got empty 2 liter plastic coke bottles and put them on the hard floor (not carpeting). We would play soccer. We would have about 3 bottles going at once. He always wanted the one I was kicking around, so, instead of having a competition, as soon as he got the one I was kicking, I would move on to another one. It was a very active game, and he would get tired playing it.....but he loved it.

He also would go tearing through the house top speed, and he would love for you to clap at him or run after him briefly as he passed by your way.

I used to just hide, lol. Now I usually open the back door and hope they will continue outside.

When foster gets crazy he runs around the dining room table at maximum speed, I swear one day he is gonna put a hole in the carpet!! I usually just get about 5 or 6 tennis balls, and throw them down the hall, for him to retrieve, then I throw another one etc. he loves it! and is SUPER tired afterwards!

At nearly eight, King still has them about twice a day! Mostly they happen outside, but once in a while, he flips out in the house and for some reason, tears my sheets and blanket off my bed! Just by bouncing off the headboard and trying to chew on Molly. It freaks people out when they see a dog with as much white on his face as King has now to go ballistic and run through the house at 40Mph.

rascal has his at least 1 in 3-4 months and hes 5 but very,VERY lazy.

But when he occasionally(sp) does we normally sit on the ground cause he will run through the house at around15-20MPH and he LOVES the windowsill so he can "watch what and who goes on our property" so he willl run through the house twice jump onto the couch arm look into the window and repeat.
