Crossing my fingers for Ninja, someone will love his cute wild child ways. Love the collar and tag. Safe journey wishes to Anya. Ressie and Sancho are SO sweet together.

I'm loving the pics of Sancho & Ressie; they were meant to be best friends. Good travels to Onya going to her new home in Colorado.

Anya caught the bus. I won't go into my meltdown in 6 lanes of backed up traffic, on the wrong highway, because no one wants to know I promise. Fortunately I was only 20 minutes late, which for me being lost, is a record. WHen I called to tell them i was completely turned around (the gps I was sent stopped working quite some time ago) the lady said Frosty was still loading up so there was still time. THat was BEFORE I got in the backed up crawling traffic. one major panic attack later, she was put in the crate in the front, with her travel sack. I got back to the truck, Ressie crawled in my lap and I instantly felt better. WE were going to go on to Animal Control with a stool sample of Ressie's because I still do not think things are quite right, and to get her microchip but I had had all I could take. I headed for Gg's so I could borrow enough to get home. It's the end of the month, and I just didnt' know this was all going to happen. Ressie had a lovely lovely lovely visit with my Mom. SHe sat in her lap, for a half hour playing with her buttons on her dress and sweater, tasting the cheerios Mom tried to give her from her breakfast, playing her footsie game. We went into the bedroom where she stretched out on a pillow and acted like this was all the most normal event, like we do this all the time. SHe walked on her leash back to the truck and when I opened the door she stood on her little hind legs with her feet on the edge to be lifted up, stepped over to her seat, washed her paw paws and stretched out for a nap. I cannot put into words how amazed i am about her. It sure makes me think this therapy thing is exactly the right thing for her to be doing.
So let me know Zoom if everything works out on the other end. One kitten left to go. Oh was he a cry baby when we got home. He does not like being left all alone in Hyia's room.
In the future I am not going to do this transfer drive a half hour or more in one direction to places I have never been. I will bottle feed, and train, and drive them to Zona Rosa, or the shelter, but that is where I have to stop. This was just too hard and I am not in a position to be able to handle it if things go wrong. As GG says, your home now, so put it behind you. Amen Home is a wonderful place to be. Traffic just scares me to pieces anymore.

ON the way there they stayed in each other's arms.

At the gas station on the way home, Ressie is comfortable on her seat.

SHe says Cheerios are not tasty but thank you anyway for sharing.

Playing the footsie game. GG does not like her pic taken, and that's ok. I told her I would only have her hands in the photo and she was fine with that.

She likes her Sponsor very much!

SHe even liked Mr. Shaffer. Soon as he hears my camera beep he closes his eyes so I can't get a good pic of him unless we are outside and I am lucky that he is distracted.

WE came home, she walked down the sidewalk to the door, I took off her harness, she used her potty (i will have to make her a portipotty for the back of the truck) we tried to use the grass at Gg's but the neighbor's Chi woudlnt' stop barking at us.
Just now. Ressie makes everyone feel better.

The thing my house is not short of.

WE do have love, and lots of it to share. Home from school.

Kisses and more kisses and more kisses. IF you are on the floor, Pepper thinks your there just for her.

Who wouldn't want a little guy like this? He is not bothered by anything including Pepper's overzealous, effervescent greetings.

She took Ninja to her room for some one on one while she practices her songs for the musical.

Zoom sent me this photo on facebook. She has arrived. Good luck to our little girl. I hope they will love you as much as well already miss you.
Thank you Zoom for finding her forever home.
Thank you Austin and family for taking her in. I hope your boys find her to be loads of fun. Please stay in touch, we would love to hear about her progress.

She just wrote me in a message
" She was wondering why I had put her back in the crate; she is as chill and relaxed as you could ask for. Playing with my fingers as we more driving and purring" so that is wonderful news. They have her little sack of favorite toys, baby pics and Hyia's letter too.

I let KCPETPROJECT know that Ninja can stay here another week, I will take him up both Sat and SUn to see if he can be adopted. IF not, he should go to the shelter where he can be up for adoption every day. They have a very caring staff that work with the cats. My friend agrees that this is what will be best for him. He is the right age for an easy transition to a new home. The longer he stays here, the harder it will be for him. So fingers crossed that that won't be necessary. Our babies are almost completely out of our nest.

I let her out for a minute when we got back to my place so she could stretch and use the litterbox before she was picked up. Huck sat up very tall with his tailed curled around his legs and just loooooked at her. Anya looked right back...and hissed. LOL. I think she was just worn out from the trip and not in the mood for any rough housing from her brother, thank you very much.

Poor Huck. That's a shame. Ressie is tired out from her excursion today. I cant' imagine what Anya now Luna thinks. Hope they like her collar. I thought it looked snazzy on her. Suited her with her grey marking on her head. I like her tag way better than I do the one they gave me for Ninja. His tag seems way to big for him. I might get him a tag that has the code on it and fits him better before he goes. For future reference for anyone else trying to do this, if Petco knows your purchasing for a foster, they give you a discount.

I hope Luna was still clean and pretty. That was a terrible long time to have to hold it. I fed her at 4 am hoping she would have enough time for her to pass as much as she could. I sure couldn't go that long. Is she bigger and heavier than Huck? She is half again over these two. She always was the strongest and healthiest one, and the easiest to bottle feed.

If you were a child, could you ask for a better play mate?
vids of ninja in action.

It is very hard to video tape him because he is so dang fast. But if you throw the ball, he will fetch it right back to you..eventually to throw again and again and again. He wuld make a great soccer player. He is smart as a whip. THe others purr when you pet them. He purrs when you play with him.

I figure the old saying a photo is worth a thousand words, so this is putting out our best effort on his behalf. I will print these out along with his latest and send them with him this weekend. He will never be a boring cat. Good night all. It has been a long and trying day for this foster mommy but nothing good comes easy and I am not sorry I went this morning. I am so happy she seems content even after her long journey.

Victor was really smelly when we picked him up. i mean hang your head out the window kind of smelly. I am glad she was pretty and clean to meet her new family.
Blink blink blink..nod nod nod..poor Ressie just sits and looks this way and that.SHe has looked and looked and looked. SHe tried to sleep on top of Hyia's dresser with the debbie dolls where they slept together, but that was no good. Nnja is playing everywhere chasing and being chased by Sancho, but Ressie has gone to every single place she and her sister hung out. Across the piano keys to the top of the red dresser, and back to the dresser with the dolls. She will not play with Ninja tho he has given it his best.. SHe is one sad little sister this morning.

Day 5

SHe likes to walk across the strip mall shops where she can see her reflection in the window. THe beer truck and Roma Bread truck tho were kind of scary so we sat on our wonderful green bench and watched them unload until it was no big deal anymore. She was a little tired of her walk by the time we headed home and in a bit of a hurry. So a spoonful of baby beef for the reward of being a good sport and trusting me.

Subway smells good.

It was the bluejays that were screaming at something in the woods that that made her anxious so I picked her up and carried her past.. She had had enough lesson for one day. Traffic sounds were for the most part ignored so that is progress.

Ressie has ear mites. I hope Luna aka Anya didn't take them with her. I didn't know until just now when I saw her scratching and checked. i wonder if they got infected when they sat at Zona last weekend. GOes to look in Ninja's ears.
Sorry sorry Zoom I didn't know.

THe shelter is going to send me out some ear meds for everyone tomorrow so I don't have to drive across town. I got some ear wash in the mean time. Washing out little kitten ears is one thing, washing out Sancho's is a whole different story. I set the roll of towels down beside me and when I reached for them to wipe out Sancho's I saw Ninja ripping away in a pile of confetti. He was looking at my mantle earlier too, so now I get to rearrange the furniture so he can't make that three foot leap. He is something else.

I'll tell her owner to check but she wasn't really messing with them that I saw. He said she slept in bed with him last night and curled up on the pillow out of the way. His two current cats are still trying to figure out what's going on with this little white streak of exploring and playing with her balls.

This entire litter just takes every thing thrown at them in perfect stride, it's amazing to see.

They are good babies and I raised em right. :) I don't understand just about anything else, but I do understand babies. I wiped out Ninja's ears and found some too, but not like Ressie's. I didnt' see it for all her white fluff in front. I feel so bad, I didnt' want to send any problems. Sancho tried to fight me to pieces when I tried to clean out his ears but I didnt' find any in his.
I will still treat everyone.

My camera might have crapped out for a final time. Will see if the fairies come back and work their magic. IF not, I sure as heck can not complain. Will call some pawn shops and see if there is another one out there for me, I want exactly what I have. If I can't find one I will send them in and see if they can be fixed. It's cheaper tho, to find one like I did this one.
So unless the fairies do their thing these will be the last for awhile. The kitten's story is almost finished anyway. Hopefully.
THis afternoon

HEY THAT TICKLES uncle uncle

I'll spank you behind

YOu gotta catch me first

I get you back

Be good now.

This goes on all day. Sancho and Ninja have really bonded in the last couple days. THey race from room to room, first Sancho chasing Ninja, and then Ninja chasing Sancho. At least he gets to keep his precious.

Great story. Ninja sounds like such a good cat. He would fit right in here if you where closer and I hadn't already gotten my demon child. I would love to do therapy work with mine but i think she is just to crazy for it. She only cuddles when sleeping lol

I hope he gets someone exactly like you. My prayers would be answered. He purrs while he is playing. :D and don't' tell anyone, but he was sleeping with Victor practically nose to nose. I tried to take a pic, but that was when my camera waved a white flag. Victor is mellowing about them finally.

Off to the vet tomorrow with Neccy I think she has a uti infection. Fingers crossed that is all it is. I got a urine sample, but will try to get a fresh one in the morning. She has had to go out frequently today, and only goes a little bit at a time. I sure know what that is like. Poor ol girl.
