If anyone could help me out with this, i would really appreciate it :)

It is a really short assignment, nothing too involved...we just have to pick something we want to do as an "anatomy experience"...so naturally i picked dogs :)

anyways, i was thinking about hip dysplasia or patallar luxation...i wanted to kinda compare it to human injures...but i was having trouble finding something that compared them directly.

Does anyone know of comparable human/dog injuries? Or just anything else interesting that has to do with anatomy...and it doesnt have to have anything to do with humans...

i was also thinking of doing some surface anatomy identification on oakley...but i dont know how well that will work, lol

thanks :)

my cousin had some kind of hip problem when she was born, a birth defect that caused her to be in a body cast for a long period of time when she was a child, and then twice as an adult. i don't know the name of it but if it even sounds close i will call and find out.

You can compare hip dysplasia directly. One of my coworkers was born with hip dysplasia. I never even knew it existed in humans!

oh whoa, cool grammy...

unless they are already on the computer...dont worry about it!!! i dont know how you would scan xrays, and this is like a tiny tiny assignment, it is barely worth anything, so i dont want you to go through any trouble to get it to me :p

If it is on the computer...email? :)

thanks

thank you so much for the offer, but really...i would rather not...if you saw my room right now, you would understand, LOL.

Plus, i am not sure what i would do with them (in terms of giving them to my anatomy teacher)...just more hassle than it is worth :) i dont want to risk anything happening to them

:) thanks again!
