It depends on my schedule really. I travel 15 minutes now, which is great. My old place years ago was almost an hour and it worked fine. The place I wanted to train is 45 minutes but it wouldn't fit my schedule at all.

On the weekends I'd be willing to travel farther if I found something I liked a ways away.

My current place is 10 miles (30-40 minutes) and that's about my limit. On occasion we'll drive over an hour to get to practice areas, but those are once every couple months situations.

Edit: I never would have looked at this place if we were starting from scratch, but when we first started going it was 5-10 minutes away, and then we gradually moved out to the suburbs but kept going to the same place.

It depends, we've did puppy socializing classes with Kiley about 45 minutes away. We take Courtney and Sierra to handling class about 1 1/2 hrs away. I really want to start agility when it cools down, but those are 1 1/2 hrs away too..so just thinking of getting our own equipment and starting to train at home and local little fields.

I'm about 12 miles from my work/training facility for agility. I go there M-F and if I ever found time I'd train, the past month I've worked my own dogs very little sadly because we're packed with client dogs.

I'm about 15-20 miles from my other two agility courses which we train on occasionally when I have time and it's not too hot outside.

We're 25 miles from where we train IPO and Obedience. We do this every sat/sun morning which is why we're up at 5 am during summer.

We're about 15 miles from our tuesday night obedience park.

So... 12-25 miles on a regular basis. I would love something closer but it is what it is. I would not be willing to drive over 45 minutes one way on a regular basis for training at this point because the rest of our schedule is just much too busy for that much car time.

this right here is what gets me about where everything is located around here, I feel like I spend more time driving too and from classes than actually doing something with my dog, but there is nothing local here at all :(

By regular training, do you mean weekly? I'm lucky that I'm maybe 15 minutes from the facility I train at. They used to be close to a half hour away, but relocated. I'd be willing to travel probably an hour to stick with these people.

I'd consider doing as much as 3 hours once a month or so, for a trainer I really liked and who gave good homework.

I'm 25-40 minutes away from our agility trainer (his indoor place is farther away). 40 minutes would be my tops, though I'd have to drive that to get anywheres anyways.

Though I'm trying to decide whether or not to go to a place thats 90 minutes away for privates XD.

For me it would have to be close by, right now I'm still dependent on getting rides from people, mainly my parents, and they would never go too far out of the way for something like that on a regular basis. There is a new place that has all sorts of sports going on that is really close, maybe 20 minutes away if that. But alas I'm too poor for sports or lessons, lol.

I used to drive 30 minutes to agility.

Now I live a mere miles from anywhere but it's in the stupid city so it takes forever!

Right now the place we take our growl class at is only like 30 miles away, but it's at 6pm so right in the middle of rush hours so it is 1 hour 15 minutes each way. I used to drive about 45 minutes for our weavers class with Sara.

In PA I walked to the training center, it was less than a mile!

I travel 40 minutes to an hour away depending on the traffic. There is just no training places around here for what I want to do. That and this new place seems to fit us quite well. I just wish I had found it 7 years ago when Ivan was little.

Right now I drive about 3-5 mins for agility and for OB/Rally classes it'll be closer to 30 mins I think. For scentwork classes since they're being held by the GSD club at the mall it'll take me about 10ish maybe less mins

It takes me about 20-30 minutes (depending if I take the interstate or not) to get to Auggie's breeder's house which is where we do outdoor agility. About 20 minutes to the training building we used to use, less than 10 to the new training building.

40-45 tops for a weekly training. I would do an hour or a little more once a month or so. I would even drive upwards of 5 hours for a weekend seminar depending on the person. Like I would totally drive 5 hours to see Susan Salo, or Susan Garrett. I'm thinking of driving 3 to see Denise Fenzi.

We are 40 mins to a hour as well depending on traffic. We go on Saturdays but not always every week because it takes up the whole day. We are there for 5+ hours sometimes.

I've never gone to a training class. I really want to, though, if only I could find a decent trainer.

Considering driving doesn't bother me too much, though, I'd probably be willing to drive an hour to 90 minutes. Any more and I think I might be pushing gas prices and/or mine and Zander's patience. He can zonk out in the backseat, but I can't.

The place where we do agility and flyball is about 40 minutes, which is really more than I'd like, especially as some weeks I'm driving there three times. I get so tired of my car.

The other training club is 25 minutes.
