Urgh I wish I had the patience/stamina/attention span for hobbies.
I struggle to watch a whole film to conclusion a lot of the time, so sitting concentrating on an activity doesn't really gel with me.
I enjoy walking, and want to ramp it up a bit in 2014, and my plan is to start hill walking again... My only issue is I'm wary of going alone as I don't want to die, but I've yet to find a reliable walking companion who's willing to go when I want to go! My goal is to at least have walked the hill by me, plus snowdon, plus one in the lakes by the end of the year. Ideally I'd like to have done the 3 main peaks by the end of the year.... But we will see.
I start reading books and never ever finish them... I have about 7 half read ones dotted about. Just, no... Oh, I have started a small collection of vintage dog books...
I can be crafty/creative... But again, I get so bored... I've painted, and I do an ok job, but I don't find it relaxing, I find it frustrating!!
I like antiques fairs and shops. That's something I do with the boyfriend, and we will go into them when we see them
we rarely buy stuff though! But we love walking round looking for art and furniture. And dog books, see above!
I like to cook
when I get a day free I like to find a recipe and cook something.. Always savoury, rarely sweet, I'm not a baker and prefer savoury food!!! I like nice ingredients and cooking from scratch. I'm not a great cook, but I cook food I like, and I'm pleased when other people like it too.
Dogs. Duh. But even then I'm not obsessive, don't train every day, don't compete (aside from the odd show for Fred, but that's taken a back seat). Started agility lessons, and I'd love to make that more of a hobby, fingers crossed. They are my obsession though, as all my friends would tell you....
Errrr... Honestly, I work 5 days a week, I leave the house at 7.30am and get in at 6pm, and frankly i often don't want to do much of anything except chill out and mooch with my doglets
