There had been a dog living by our mailbox..I have yet to see him but everyone else has seen him. He's very shy but from what I'm told looks to possibly be a tri colored corgi?

It's so icky outside! Everytime I go look he is GONE! But when anyone else goes out he is there! I have been leaving a bowl of kibble at our mail box for him.

Hopefully I can bring him home and find his family. He's right on our country road and ppl just fly Down it and I don't want him hit! And besides that our one neighbor is trigger happy and has an intact female boxer and great Dane mix. And he has shot my other neighbors dog for trying to breed the Dane mix.

That's awful. I hope he'll come around and you can protect him from that neighbor and that dangerous road. I wonder who he belongs to. What a difficult thing to have to see all these animals in need. Keep us posted on any progress you might have. Wish you'd post more. But I bet you're super busy.;)

I'll keep you all posted! Thankfully at this time I'm not to busy. Just a baby pigeon! But is officially baby season so who knows!

He's scared of everyone or that would totally work. They have tried.

Heading out with more food. I'm bringing Lady cuz she's a dog magnet and very friendly.

Is there an animal control officer that could come out and try to bring him in? His owners may have reported him missing.

Hope he is ok!

I don't live in town. Speaking from experience they will do nothing unless they are within city limits. No leash laws.. No dog laws. No laws that say you can't shoot a dog that comes on your property.

Of coarse if your neughbor shoots your dog and he lives you can sue to cover vet bills.

We had a pair if dogs that were coming to our house from 4 miles away. We would drive them home. But they would be right back the next day trying to kill our chickens. Animal control said thy couldn't help us but that since the owner has been informed and asked to keep his dogs at home that we should just shoot them!

There is no way we would kill an animal other than self defense so we just kept bringing the dogs home.

They were crossing 2 highways to get here and sadly both were hit.
I was soo mad.
If I had rehomed them I would have gotten in trouble:mad:

It's sad I just want to get this lil guy here get photos and try to find his home.
