Take the pup back to the vet or another vet and insist that something is wrong...that your other pups have died. Suggest "failure to thrive" and ask them what you can do to optimize the pup's chances. There may be nothing you can do. When I was a kid, our dog had 9 puppies and every single one died, one by one over a period of a couple of weeks. There was nothing to be done apparently. I'm really sorry about this. It must be very upsetting and it must have made you desperate and frantic, hence the multiple posts. Posting the same thing more than once is against the rules, but perhaps you didn't read the rules.

So, rather than waste more time arguing here, get the pup to the vet again, even if they didn't help the first time or call some Pug breeders. There's one on here. I think she's bred before....Showpugs. Or pm Redyre Rottweilers. She knows a lot about stuff like that. But while you're waiting for an anwer from them, go to the vet again. Or call.

thank you all for nothing

I have been to the vets. There is no vet that is open this time of night around where I live. There is no where else to go. I have all of the numbers so no I do not need them. I came on here for help, and you have all let me down. I just thought that maybe someone might know something about sick puppies. You all have me in tears because of your behavior. Just because two of my puppies already died doesn't mean that I should be a breeder. I'm a good breeder and haven't had any problems up until now. Well, I'm signing off now. Thank you all for nothing. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves. Instead of counting how many times I post, how about giving me suggestions. Thanks for nothing.

Maybe she's gone to the vet's. I don't think we should jump to conclusions just yet, personally. She may be really upset and desperate watching her pups die off one by one. When people are frantic like that, they don't always think straight. Remember....fight or flight? She's not asking for money or trying to sell anything. There's a chance she's doing this for the sake of drama. That happens. But I think we should hold off and wait and see.

Have you taken the MOTHER in to the vet? Perhaps she has some illness or infection that is affecting her milk or being passed to the babies by contact??

no

i'm not doing this for drama. i'm doing this to try to help my puppies since i can't get them to a different vet. so i'm sorry for bothering you all and making you think that i'm some kind of nut case. i'm not. i just didn't want to see my puppies die. thanks to the ones that gave me real advice though. i'm going to bed. guess i'll just have to wait it out. oh and i said i'm sorry for posting more than once. yes i read the rules, but if you read what i wrote before, i told you that i didn't see that it posted. i am new to all of this. i apologize.

Call another pug breeder or any breeder. Like I said, there are a few breeders here who might have an idea for you. Does bottle feeding work? An eye dropper? Get some dog formula and force feed carefully so she doesn't aspirate it into her lungs. Is the mom taking care of her? Licking her, keeping her rubbed down, warm etc? Is she breathing all right? Does she sound stuffed up in her nose or anything? I don't know much about puppies but those are some things I can think of.

So we went from no vets to closed vets. That's progress. A good breeder has vets available and knows more about pups than I do.
