Thanks so much everyone :)

Cadence, if he needs surgery then it will be tomorrow morning now.
That is providing the Red blood count is back up, so that they can do the x-ray 1st.
I don't understand what it means for this to be low, and the effects it could have if put under.
If anyone does know, then i would be very grateful if they could enlighten me a little :)

Oh Caren, I'm so sorry. I wish I knew about the blood work...:(

I know how much he means to all of you and the worry must be so difficult. I'm sure your big strong Bailey will get through this fine but I too am sending well wishes and a little prayer for all of you...

I'll keep checking in..good luck and keep us posted!

red blood cells carry the hemoglobin which has to do with oxygenation. So, if his red blood cell count is low... he will have less hemoglobin circulating through out his body and could have a problem with respiratory issues with the anestesia.

I hope he is okay and has a speedy recovery. I will keep you guys in my thoughts and prayers. Keep us posted on his status.

Thanks Nancy :)

Spoke with the vets this morning and he had the x-rays........they couldn't find anything wrong......Whooohooooooo :D
They are assuming now that he just sprained the Muscle or pulled a Tendon, which isn't so bad :)

So i will be collecting him later this evening with plenty of pain releif and Anti-inflamitaries, he will go back on Tuesday for follow-up checks.

Thank you so much everyone :)

Bailey is home now......very sleepy and all, but he is home :D
He wouldn't look at me the whole way home (mummies fault i guess) but he finally gave me big sloppy kisses when we got indoors :)

Oh thank God!!!

All of that worry just cuz the silly wanker fell of the darned couch!!!

What a 'terd. I'm sure he'll need some extra TLC for the next few weeks but at least he didn't need surgery!

Thanks for the update Caren, I was thinking of all of you. :)
