So... I haven't been around much the past few days because I've been moving. Gonzo HATES moving. It takes him a few months to adjust to a new home, and he gets very anxious and neurotic when we move.
Last night, I had to pick up more stuff, so I left the dogs in my room - which I thought was secure. I had a box of dog brushes, shampoo, and vitamins sitting on a desk but I didn't even think twice about putting it away. I came back to an empty bottle of Gonzo's joint supplement vitamins, from the Vet... there was about 30 in there. The same joint supplements that I have to wrap in cheese to feed him! D:
So, while I was supposed to be studying for a final today, I was up all night worried about him; the e-vet said he should be ok, but he was obviously feeling sorry about his snack. He drank tons of water and laid in a corner all night. This morning, I awoke from 2 hours of sleep to find no messes! I was ecstatic. I took him on a walk, then came back and took a shower, and walked out to find a huge pile of vomit (which contained a bunch of the huge vitamins) and diarrhea by the door. Ughhh. And he just looks so sad. I really, really hope he gets better and this doesn't go on... or he'll be going to the Vet. Has anything like this happened to anyone else?
