Lyz, I can't wait to see your henna hair. I've been thinking of adding bright red manic panic to my routine in between henna applications, but I don't want a super stained scalp.

Anyone done laser hair removal? I may try it. It is the main symptom of my PCOS that really embarasses me. It's like $200 a session for the area I want to do.

I did it on my legs.
First off, OUCH. People were like "oh it's like snapping a rubberband on your skin", ya if that rubber band was a HOT ASS LASER and in the same spot for what feels like a long time.
I had to do about 8 sessions to get my legs done (you'll need more than a few to make the whole process permanent) about once a month.

All in all, other than the pain, I am incredibly happy with the results. My hair/pores used to show through my skin (so it looked like black dots, even when shaved) and now no more! My legs are smooth and lovely all the time

I'm doing my lady parts next pray for me.

1. Find a place with great reviews
2. Find the right laser for your skin type (people with tan skin like mine need the AIQ laser or something)
3. Find a good deal.
but 3.5... BE CAREFUL OF BUNDELING BODY PARTS. It may seem like a good deal but trust me, the pain is real, it's emotionally taxing, and it's not easy to sit through a session for more than one part. I would do one part at a time honestly

My friend bought and paid for her upper lip and under arms and only did two sessions the process was so bad she quit, it was just too much doing both and going in.

I plan on working my way through to the rest of my body lol eventually. Honestly, other than the pain, in the long run it's much less expensive than what I was paying on waxing/shaving.

My annual is tomorrow, for real this time. Making a list of all the stuff that's wrong with me to ask her about getting a thyroid test. I have no idea if I'll have to convince her on it or if I can just say "hey I think this is all messed up can we just run a thyroid test?" urgh.

Does anyone know of some good work out videos to try out that I can do in my basement?
If you want something free you can do Zuzka Light's videos... I like her a lot:
http://www.zuzkalight.com/

You can also look up BodyRockTV, Zuzka was originally with them but she has since left... BodyRock is kind of, uh, porny and uncomfortable to watch sometimes too. I like to watch their videos, write down the routine, then just do the routine away from the video. =P Zuzka is fun to fire up and follow along with though haha.

Myself and a Girlfriend are doing a boudoir photo shoot. Not photos together, but for moral support and have a girl date together. We will be getting out hair and make-up done.

We are also doing the photo shoot outside so its going to be romantic and organic looking. I am so excited :)

A few friends and I did that earlier this year! Lots of fun, and it's nice to have some good shots of yourselves :)

I kind of wish I got bodouir photos done when I was like 19, but they would have just been for me and I couldn't justify spending the money on myself.

Maybe before I get married or something, or have another kid. I hope you girls have fun, that's something great to have

That seems like such a fun idea. I wouldn't be able to do it by myself...but going with able friend sounds great!

Really? I didn't even know doing it with friends was a thing LOL

I did this for hubby's wedding gift. I was in the best shape I've been in since high school and the lightest weight. Yup, already put that weight back on LOL He was stunned and thrilled.

Mike, the guy who does the videos for SixPackShortcuts on Youtube, has some great, killer, bodyweight workouts! The M100's and the Beginner's Home Muscle are the two I really like for starting out. Ignore the stupid reality TV girl who can't do crap and just focus on what the guy is saying to actually do. I am SMOKED when I do the full videos.

How bad is it to use Lush shampoo but Herbal Essenses conditioner? Am I messing up the whole thing by using "regular" conditioner? The Lush conditioner was leaving my hair sticky and it has this weird residue. Someone on here was saying it was product build up and to use a clarifying shampoo a couple times and I'd be good. Well I figured til I get a clarifying shampoo, I would go back to the conditioner I was using. Well my hair feels and looks WAY better using Lush as a shampoo and Herbal Essenses as a conditioner. I still want to get the clarifying shampoo and use the Lush conditioner to see how my hair does with it, but I am wondering for the future, if I don't want to spend the money on buying Lush shampoo AND conditioner, can I used "normal" conditioner? Or is that bad?
