I'm so glad I'm not alone. XD It's really annoying!

I went to Victoria's Secret once to try on a pushup bra... one Heidi Klum was advertising. I was like "THIS BRA WILL MAKE MY BOOBS LOOK LIKE HEIDI KLUM'S BOOBS."
It flattened me. Which I never would have thought possible.
Definitely NOT Heidi Klum boobs.
False advertising, VS... false. advertising.

The bras I'm wearing now that I need to replace I bought at Target. They're awesome, padded just enough but they're not like THIS IS A PADDED BRA. It's like a t-shirt bra, very casual and you can wear it under t-shirts and sweaters and stuff without it being like HEY LOOK AT THIS BRA!
But they don't carry them anymore. x_x I'm not even sure which brand it was now because the label has all worn off, but they don't have anything at all like them.
I also have a hell of a time finding anything without an underwire (which LOLOLOLOL yeah I have zero need for an underwire.) I've decided I'll probably just have to buy something and do surgery to remove the underwire...

Beanie, if you're a smaller/ more typical size, JC Penny had a ton of bras without underwire. A lot of them were unlined, but not all.

I have been thinking about trying the "Genie" bra. has anyone tried it? it seems comfortable. I don't have to worry about support because I am only a 36 C so I can pretty much wear any style of bra without worrying about support.

Um, ditto Beanie, Dana, and stardogs. Similar over here, too. Perky nipples *and* huge boobs.

I heart this thread.

THIS. I have two younger sisters (4 and 7 yrs younger) and they both have waaay bigger boobs than me. What the heck.

I like to wear pushup/underwire bras just so it looks like there is something there!! Cheating? Maybe.

I wish I could get away with going bra-less! I have to wear padded bras because my nipples are chronically perky and you can see them through EVERYTHING unless I have some kind of padding in the way. I even have to buy padded sports bras. Ughhhhhhhh. How is that fair?? I have tiny boobs and shouldn't even need a bra BUT I STILL NEED A BRA.
Unfair. >=|
Tape is your friend. I go bra less pretty much 99.9% of the time, but those days I am wearing a sheerer shirt or dress I just put tape or bandaids over the nips. Works like a charm.

I love, love having small boobs. My boobs think bras are boob prison. And my ribs hate them too.

I went braless a lot before I had my baby, even though I was like a C or D. I'd just wear a cami or tank under my top to keep my nips in check

For those of you who have had some issues with hormones and birth control, did the side effects start right away with used the pill? I have been taking Marvelon 28 for a little over a year now and have had some of the side effects the whole time, like worse bleeding, worse cramps, tender etc.. But thought nothing of it. Now I am experiencing some serious mood swings. Might even call it depression I honestly dont know. I have been fighting off tears for no reason for a week now. This is the first time I have been aware that perhaps my BC is causing it, but I have little break downs like this pretty regularly, around the same time each month (when pmsing) and have since I started on the pill. Never had them before. Thought it was just life style change or something?

Calling the Dr today to get taken off this pill. Dont like not being able to control my own emotions.

For me--those side effects came anywhere after 1-3 years of use. Aviane was the only one that made me suicidal the first month of use.

I was pretty hormonal before I was on BC, so I didn't really notice how crazy I was getting until nearly three years later and my boyfriend (now husband) pointed it out. Then I ran into a bunch of issues getting my prescription filled (was out of stock, then back ordered, then it was Christmas) and I felt sooooo much better off it.... but then there was the whole BC thing, so I decided to get an IUD. It is one that releases progesterone, but it doesn't have any estrogen, and the dosage of progesterone is lower compared to oral contraceptives. Plus, no periods!

Marvelon gave me HORRIBLE side effects. Like going through puberty all over again. Acne, mood swings, extreme depression, pain, severe cramps, weird weight gain.

Nuvaring, up until lately (for the past 3 years) has been excellent for me. And even the side effects I just started seeing aren't overly serious or even that annoying.

With Mirena my side-effects were all physical and started right away. With NuvaRing, one of the side-effects (physical) wasn't right away, but was pretty early on. For the depression, I can't tell you if it started right away or not, because the depression steadily got worse the longer I was on it. It MIGHT have started right away and I didn't notice it because it wasn't so bad right away. I'm not sure. I was on it for almost a year before I made the connection. I remember several months where I was seriously depressed, but I just thought it was due to life things like my job sucking and stuff. I'm pretty sure I was sitting in my bedroom crying (not for any real reason, just because crying was something that happened frequently) looking up side-effects because of the other one I was experiencing, and stumbled across women talking about the depression they experienced while on it. It was like somebody had just slapped me in the face and yelled HEY! IT'S THE BIRTH CONTROL! I went in the bathroom, pulled it out, threw it in the trash, and never looked back.

I can say for sure I started to feel BETTER immediately. The next morning I woke up feeling better than I had in weeks and after about a month or so I just steadily started feeling better and better. After about three weeks I was on the Mirena, but I don't think it had anything to do with it. Just the further away I got from having those particular hormones in me, the better I felt.

I hate bras too ... That's one good thing about winter (the only good thing about winter lol) is that since I wear so many clothes and often a vest so people can't tell anyway lol.

But boy once summer comes it's hard to go back to bra wearing and getting hay and shavings in there SUCKS.
