I wash my hair with ... Conditioner lol & only conditioner ... I wash my hair like ... Once every three weeks or so I will "poo" it looks I did tonight when it gets too "grimy" with built up ... Stuff, debris from sweating & whatnot & sometimes only a good shampooing will do. When I do poo I use anti dandruff ... I don't know but it seems to get my hair cleaner.

I wash my hair maybe twice a month. I never did before it was long but now I do every so often.

My hair bounces between this

and sometimes goes bonkers when I sleep with it in a bun after showering.

Anyways, I suck at girly stuff. Igenerally just wear sweats or yoga pants with a tank or a t-shirt. I never wear makeup and the only reason my eyebrows are decent is because my boyfriend does them for me. I am in serious need of this thread.

So I've read up on the OCM, Thankfully I have all those oils so I will be trying washing my face with oil tonight. Do you think I could add avocado oil into the concoction?

Now, I have a question regarding hair. I wash and condition my hair using organic, natural products. Which I love, but I want to try and wash my hair less. Right now I have been washing my hair everyday to every second day. Mainly because I have curly hair and I need to wet it to re set the curl in my hair and I just end up re washing it when I am in the shower. I am really trying to wear my hair curly and straighten and blow dry my hair less.

Second is because I have an allergy to unnatural sent's and other unnatural stuff which is always in the air, which causes me to have sores on my head and if I do not wash my hair at least every second day the sores just get worse and worse. I have not found a way to get around that yet, but if you guys have any ideas. I am willing to try them.

And do any of you guys know of a natural, de frizzer for hair. Unfortunately I have not found an natural de frizzer serum, yet. But I am willing to try oils or other things that might help, but wont make my hair greasy.

Haley, I used avocado oil first and really liked it. My problem was I didn't find cold pressed avocado oil so I switched. But I plan on getting unrefined avocado oil this week and going back it.

Actually, Paige ... The tousled look (the bottom pic) really become you!

I was taught that you should never sleep with your hair up or in a bun because it is bad for it. I have been told it pulls it out.

Jury is still out on the coconut oil/castor oil for my face (although my face does feel very soft and moisturized)

but as for coconut oil as body lotion and hair conditioner, holy hufflepuff it's so awesome!!! My hair hasn't frizzed out ALL DAY (despite being out in weird humid weather walking dogs) and my skin feels so soft and not at all dry or itchy!!
Winning.

Now what to do with my aresenal of body lotions :rofl1:

Hmmmm, I should try coconut oil on my hair. I give some to Jackson occasionally. Didn't think about it for myself! The smell is so yummy too.

I'm not super big into girly things, but I try to keep myself decent lol. Thankfully my mom owns a salon so eyebrow waxing, manis/pedis, and hair is usually done there. I'm not totally hip on skin care yet tho, which I should be! My mom is an esthecitian for god's sake! I just use a typical face wash from the grocery store or drug store.

I am obsessed with this new line my mom has at her shop - it's called J Bev. I've never had my hair feeling so healthy. And it's hard because we have well water at our house and it's terrible. But this makes my hair feel like it's being washed in public water.

Lol mine is too ... But I don't want any of it to fall out ... You should see my brush after I use it ... Sooo much hair :S & I even have a brush that is supposed to not pull so much hair out & I still end up with a brush full of hair every couple of days that I have to clean out :/.

I know it "looks" like a lot but my hair is long, thick (even the individual hairs are thick ... Most are thick like horse hairs ) so maybe that effects the number of hairs lost ... If I have a lot of hair I will naturally lose more I guess.:dunno::dunno:

How do people with long hair sleep with it down? If I try, I end up lying or rolling onto my hair at some point in the night and if I start to move my head or roll over again, I end up yanking my own hair from underneath my body. I always slept with it down when it was shorter, but not now.

I think I would suffocate if I slept with my hair down.

I can't imagine not washing my hair every day, I would just feel too gross getting all sweaty and then just letting it dry. The oil has definitely been making my skin feel SO much softer, I keep on reaching up and feeling it (this could actually be bad, lol). So we'll see how it goes. Unfortunately I did burn my face this morning, so bleh.

So I added some Coconut Oil to my hair right after getting out of the shower I am letting my hair air dry and be curly. I really hope the Coconut oil helps with the friz. I will let you know once it fully dries :)

Now I am wondering if I should just start out by washing my face with olive oil and Caster oil and just add in other stuff later. LINDSAY!!!

I am really hoping the OCM works, although my face is not really prone to blemishes its really sensitive and after by Best friends wedding Blemishes started popping up on my face. I blame the pounds of make up we had to wear, they did not start showing up until the next morning. GRR!!!

Lol, really? It's just... never been an issue. If my hair is pulled back in any way, I can't stand it. I get a headache. I always sleep with it down.
