... I'm looking for book recommendations. LOL!
I was at the bookstore yesterday to look for a good gardening book, but apparently I am much more methodical than the average gardener, because I just couldn't find anything that I was looking for. I was hoping to find a "pocket reference" sort of thing with detailed care/soil/water/sun/containter/etc. information.
However, all the books I came across were more like "why I love gardening" or "making your garden prettier than your neighbor's garden". LOL! I just want information on the plants themselves, and then I can figure out how I want to arrange them once I know what specific things need.
Does such a book exist? What do you recommend?
Of course I have the internet, and that is how I've gotten started with my little container herb gardens and my tomato. I'd just really like to have a reference in my hands... I just wrap my head around it better that way.
I also figure it would be easier for me to flip through options and then put together ideas with a book. When I'm browsing online, I kind of need to know what things are first before I search for information.
Thankies!
