I took it again, choosed only purebreds...I don't know about about number one and two, since I said short hair, little grooming?? But love number three and am planning on owning one.

1. A Maltese is a small breed of dog in the toy group. The Maltese does not shed and is covered with long, silky, white fur. The Maltese breed of today is descended from dogs long associated with the island of Malta. It is one of the oldest dog breeds.

2. The Papillon (butterfly in French) is a small, friendly, elegant toy dog of fine-boned structure, distinguished from other breeds by its large butterfly-like ears. The Papillon is one of the oldest of the toy breeds. Papillons were bred for companionship and make excellent watch dogs.

3. The ♥ French Bulldog ♥ is a small companion breed of dog. The name indicates that France is the country of origin, but the Americans and British may have played a larger part in development of the breed. The breed is commonly called the Frenchie.

Wildcard: The Old English Sheepdog is a breed of dog used for herding livestock and as a pet. They are best known for their shaggy grey and white fur which also covers their face, including their eyes. In countries where this practice is legal, the OES's tail is usually cut off at or below the first joint as puppies. The procedure, known as docking or "bobbing" the tail produces the panda-like rear end. Puppies are born with jet black and white fur further likening them to the panda. It is only after the puppy coat has been shed that the more common gray or silver shaggy hair appears. A nickname for the OES is "bobtail." Undocked Old English Sheepdogs are becoming a more common sight as some countries have now banned docking. The Kennel Club (of Great Britain) does not express a preference for (legally) docked or un-docked animals and either can be shown. The American Kennel Club breed regulation...

GSD, Dobe, Lab and BC.

Um... the picture of the BC looks awfully familiar, reminds me a LOT of a dog that belonged to someone that turned up here ages ago and they had just adopted it? It looks like the exact same picture, but maybe I've just seen it other places.

If I remember correctly, the person who used that picture didn't have that actual dog and just grabbed a bunch of pics that looked like "thier"dog.

I got all the same answers as Jess,on both tries, but my wildcard purebred was an Aussie.

To be fair, paps are very little in the way of grooming. Probably the easiest long coat you can think of.

Shameless plug, lmao.

I got Golden as my first, Border Collie as my second, and German Shepherd Dog as my third... I find it really ironic. I love Goldens, and will have one from good lines someday (Thought about getting one before my border collie but changed my mine), I'm planning on a Border Collie in the near future, and I have a GSD of my own right now...

:p

LMFAO x 10!

(Wow... what a stunning and healthy looking puppy??)
AiredaleTerrier x Labrador Retriever = Lab'AireLab'Aire's combine the easy to train Labrador with the smaller and energetic Airedale Terrier. These dogs require relatively less grooming, but also require a good amount of exercise and time outdoors.

Australian Shepherd x Golden Retriever = Australian RetrieverExpect a dog that is very easy to train but will also need to run outdoors to be happy. Larger dogs like these can ruin a home if they are left indoors too much. (I'll be sure to keep my Australian Retriever outdoors only, so it doesn't ruin my stuff!)

Golden Retriever x Great Pyrenees = Golden PyreneesOwners should expect this mixed breed to be easier to train than prebred Great Pyrenees. These dogs can be quite large depending on their parents. Expect little in the way of grooming requirements, but do expect to provide a lot of exercise.

Chihuahua x Japanese Chin = Chin-waThe Chin-wa is a mix between the Chihuahua and the Japanese Chin. The temperament varies, as they can have the personality of either parent breed. (You don't say!!!!!!?) Most make good pets. Weight: 2-9 (Lbs.) Height: 6-10 (Inches.) Character: The Chin-wa is intelligent, loving and playful. Temperament: Chin-was get along well with kids and pets, if they have the temperament of the Japanese Chin. Some have the Chihuahua temperament and don't accept other animals well. Care: The coat needs to be brushed and bathed occasionally. Training: Chin-was need firm, patient, consistent training. Activity: This breed needs little exercise. Country of Origin: Afghanistan Health Issues: Life Expectancy: 10-15

I need to get me one of those Afghan Chin-wa's! Note that I did NOT say I wanted a mixed breed... I just skipped it. Apparently, random designer breeds are much more likely to fit my needs than plain old predictable purebreds. ; D Oh, and for the purebred one, I got Lab, Golden, Border Collie and Husky. Because all of those need the same amount of exercise/training and have the same temperaments, of course.

OK.... If I stick with purebred, I'm supposed to have a lab, golden retriever, GSD, or Tibetan mastiff.
If I say I don't care about mixes then I'm supposed to have:
a Lab/Airedale cross - Labaire
an Aussie/Golden cross - Australian retriever
a golden/lab cross - golden labrador
or a Bichon/poodle cross (WTF??) - Poochon SINCE WHEN is a Bichon or a toy poodle or anything coming from them a MID SIZE dog? Seriously?

Guess I should go get a Lab.

Anyone want some Borders or Aussies? OOOOOooooo or I could breed them and get Braussieders!!! NEW DESIGNER BREED! Who wants one!? :rofl1::rofl1:
