We decided to put the puppies on Fromm well the Fromm has not shown up. We ran out of the Diamond food the breeder gave us so we tried to locate Diamond food locally and can't find it. We gave them Acana and right away really bad diarrhea. What do I do? Is there something I can get at Petsmart that won't be so rich?

Get a small bag of something similar to Diamond, maybe? Something the same quality? I'm thinking Iams or Purina One would be comparable to just plain ol' Diamond. Not necessarily a cure for the diarrhea, but might not be the shock to their systems that the Diamond-to-Acana jump was. Also, pumpkin has been said to be good for dietary issues. And plain yogurt. (Both in moderation, of course.)
Honestly, I'd probably pull them from all kibble and start them on a bland diet of boiled chicken or hamburger, rice, and interchangeably pumpkin/yogurt. Jumping around from formula to formula isn't going to do them any good, especially with change of environment and all the stress/excitement that comes with it.
Bland diet for about a week, and then slllloooooowly switch over to the food you want to feed over the next 7-10 days. You can't just go changing it all around from meal to meal, it will only make things worse.
You can probably pick up probiotics at Petco or such, to help with the diarrhea if it doesn't subside in the next few days.

IMO it's important to make sure puppies get appropriate amounts of calcium, so I *would* feed a commercial diet for all life stages (or specifically for puppies). Canned or pre made raw may be easier on them than another kibble.
I do think probiotics are a good idea (human ones are fine -- you can feed them in peanut butter or cream cheese). A bit of canned pumpkin (plain, not pumpkin pie filling) might help.
If it's bad, your vet can give you what is basically a high dose of probiotics (also available online, but I'm assuming you don't have the time) and canned food specifically for dogs with gastro issues (Science Diet has one). Not ideal, but better than having young puppies who aren't getting their nutrients.
ETA: also, make sure they get to the vet for a puppy check up soon, and that the vet does a fecal test. They may also have parasites, which aren't uncommon, and which wouldn't have anything to do with the food.

My nephew got two males. They are gorgeous both white one has blue eyes and the other has one blue and one green. He did end up putting them on boiled chicken and pumpkin and their stools are fine now. They will have to transition slowly I remember my Golden Gunner had no trouble switching over in like two days. Already it is a huge difference from the Goldens they are six weeks old and already going up and down the stairs they are EXTREMELY independent nothing like Gunner who did not go up and down the stairs by himself until he was ten weeks. They also do not eat nearly as much as the Goldens did. The Goldens would eat to the point where you would have to take the bowl away because they looked like they were going to pop and keel over. They are so cute I have got to get pics to post. One is already a big talker.
