Sarge's first birthday is coming up on Saturday, and his mommy just doesn't know what to get him. He doesn't play with toys, he is past the chewing stage so he really doesn't chew on his rawhides, he isn't one for wanting treats. He already has a bed, collar, name tag, leash. What can I do special for him? I am already going to take him for a ride after work Saturday.

oh, and is it possible that you just havent found the "right" toy yet? Maybe a trip to petco to see if there is one he may like, and pick out for himself?

Thanks for all the great ideas. We are going to throw a little farm party for him. I was thinking about taking him for a ride and getting him a plain hamburger and a baby ice cream cone. I bought a small bag of kibble and dog bone treats. I think Sarge will have a great birthday and I will make sure to take lots of pictures.
