So, what are your favorite color in your breed(s) of choice?

With labs, a deep, rich chocolate makes me drool. Reecie's coloring is PERFECTION to me. Black comes in second, with yellow a distant third. While I still think they are gorgeous, yellow labs just aren't as attractive to me as chocolate in black, but I still love 'em :)

I love the black and white JRTs.. then tris then tan...

but the where the markings end up really is what makes it more than the colour.

I like a true Golden color ....not too light and not too dark ( field goldens ) , As far as other breeds , love them all except those with too much pink in eye and mouth pigment .

Dark blue merle with minimal copper and chroming. ;)

A rich, deep red merle is probably second.

I thought it just meant our favorite breed.

In that case, my favorite Cutedor Springer Pointaroo color is black and white, although that's the only color I've seen so far. If I ever get another CSP I think I would like one that comes in "rainbow."

The only acceptable colour for Tollers are shades of red and orange. That said, I prefer the deep, rich red Tollers over the more orange ones. And markings wise, I have no preference. There are a lot of solid coloured dogs I adore, and a lot of dogs with lots of white that I love as well. The only thing I'm picky about with my breed is pigment. I much, much, much prefer flesh pigment over black pigment in the breed. One of my favourite Tollers ever happens to have black pigment, but she's an exception to my 'rule', and for some reason I really quite like black on her.

With Dobermans, red is by far my favourite. Followed by fawn, though I'd be leary on ever having a fawn because of the high risk of alopecia and whatnot.

Ah, now I'm the opposite- my favorite is yellow, then black. I'm not a real big fan of the chocolates, although I have seen a few that I drooled over.

For pitties... champagne makes me drool, and then second would be reds and chocolates with a good percentage of white.

For chihuahuas I like chocolate. Second would be white and cream especially for longhairs.

For danes, I'd have to pick a couple colors. We have so darn many of them.

My favorite is a nice rich fawn (not the washed out yellow-ish fawn) with a dark full mask.
Runner up is a nicely marked harlequin.

Non-standard color would have to be fawnequin. My first dane was a fawnequin and he was a looker, even if he missed the standard by a mile. :p

In Border Collies, I like primarily black/tri dogs with minimal white (though I do like Eve's markings quite a bit, and she's white factored.) and am partial to smooth coats.

I do have a major soft spot for red/white dogs with green or blue eyes, though. Huminahuminahumina!

With Border Collies, I like a black and white (can be mostly white, mostly back, or in the middle) and red and white. I'd like it if all Border Collies had those intense, yellowish brown eyes like Eve and a few other dogs I know.
