Wow...I've been on chaz too long if I can recall doing this at least 3 times. :rofl1:
I have 2 puppers. Sunny is a mini aussie (Zoomer affectionatly refers to him as the un-aussie.) He is 3 1/2 yrs old. I chose him because we were looking at breeds and he seemed perfect for what we were looking for: a velcro dog who was easy to train and eager to please.
Stormy is a gsd/husky mix, who I'm certain is also part finicky kitten. She is 2 1/2 yrs old. We got her because we had just lost a dog, and Sunny needed a companion. Tim wanted a big dog, one we could train for search and rescue and a GSD was just what he wanted. We went to "just look" and she stole our heart. She was my "christmas present" but she's his baby. (she ignores me if he's in the house)

MOther Mary ..labrador pointer cross...best dang dog in the whole world, never caused me a lick of worry. SHe is the other parent in this house..she is 15 and going strong.

I currently only have 2 male Rottweilers. Oliver is a 3 year old rescue and Carsten is 11 months old. I also have a Cat, Madeline who is about 9. she is a rescue as well. Why do I have Rottweilers? I have had them for 29 + years and have not found any other breed that so perfectly matches my needs in a dog. They are perfect for me. 
I have a little energy-filled mutt, Lucy. Some sort of mix between border collie/chow/spaniel? Who knows.
We picked her because we went to the shelter that day to walk dogs, and as soon as we had her out in the yard she flipped over on her back and begged for belly rubs. Then she came and placed her head in my lap and just wanted pets for a good hour. Our hearts melted, and we knew we had found the dog we were looking for.

~Bjorn-3.3 year old black longhaired unknown mix (Possible guesses have been Tibetan spaniel mix, Shipperke mix, or possible toy aussie)

I actually was not looking for a pittie. Wasnt a breed that I was really into. But I got him from an accidental litter. Irresponsible owners. My fiance had an uncle that owned a pit/boxer who was killed by a car weeks before. He loved that dog and wanted one himself. Thats why I have Reggin today. I have since fell VERY fond of the breed.

She was a gift, because I had lost my previous dog. Smaller dog was better for my living situation at the time.

Buster - Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog/Kelpie mix

Mum found him dumped in a car park when he was a baby.
He isn't my perfect match but I wouldn't swap him for the world.

Mum was at the local ag show, talking to a woman who said her husband was shooting all the animals on the station because they were loosing money, he's shot horses and cattle and dogs and she'd brought these 2 pups into town to try to find them a home before they got shot aswell.
Mum took one look at him asnd that was it, he was coming home with her.
She def. didn't want another cattle dog male, she knows what they're like but those 2 just mesh.
He is DR and HR to a certain extent but behaves himself when out with mum now.
Mac - Kelpie/Foxy/Whippet

We got Mac (pet shop) after my sister's dog Daisy passed. She's a freat mix. She's got the work ethic of a kelpie, the speed of a whippet (not quite) and the tenacity of a terrier. She's amazingly smart and I have such issues with her because she's my sisters dog and my sister doesn't really have an interest of putting too much work into her. So she's just ovet he top and no manners at a million miles an hour.

Keeda- Kelpie/Lab mix. 8 yrs old. She was a rescue, prob the WORST breed I could have gotten... ok maybe not the worst, but def NOT a good breed for the area I lived in/activity requirements at the time I got her. BUT: I love her to BITS and you couldn't take her from me even if I was dead... I'd turn into a zombie and kick your butt! LOL.
Bailey- Rough Collie 8 yrs old. He was a rescue, I decided to adopt him bc he looked so sad and pathetic. I fell in love with his temperment, and after reading about the breed believe this is definatly the breed for me! But, due to size, I prob won't be getting another till I own my own home which is VERY far in the future!
