I googled it and saw pictures. That is a shock collar.
It IS a shock to your dog. It is NOT just a "tap on the shoulder". The trainers are downplaying the cruelty of this device(considering this is a puppy) to get your business. It is all amount the money, and nothing about the safety and well-being ofyour puppy.
