I did NOT start this thread to have people bash the owner of the puppy, please keep rude comments to yourself! I posted it to share. As asked by the owner.

He is a very handsome puppy, I love his light coloring.

As to the 'rude comments'.........you can't expect a forum of dog lovers to NOT be concerned over this situation. You can't expect them all to show up at this thread and exclaim how adorable he is when it is still very fresh in their minds about him having to stay outdoors in a hot southern summer with his thick double coat. Still very fresh in their minds about all the advice threads doggie posted and then followed not a single word from any of them.

I am NOT posting any of that to be mean or rude, I am just attempting to make you (and/or doggieo7) understand where they are coming from, that is all :)

Acooper, I understand fully where everyone is coming from, my mother used to raise huskies however, I'm not trying to make her feel like crap either, what's done is done, now all I can do is try to help and make sure the dog gets the best out of the situation.

None of want to bash. We're just worried about the puppy. I know this is a picture thread and not a thread for debate, but looking at this puppy we can't forget the other threads.

Very cute pup.

Whisper, I'm not asking anyone to forget, hell I haven't even forgotten...I just don't want this thread flamed and drama started. I'd like it to stay civil if at all possible.

Didn't follow a word, even though I took back the rawhide, Purina, and bought nylabones, and etc? *Sigh* I'm sorry you guys feel that way. If you want me to leave, just say the word.

It's not about wanting you to leave.
Taking back some nylabones is chump change compared to the fact that you are not in a great position to get a dog right now.
I have to stop right now, or undoubtedly I'm going to go against cricketsmygirl's wishes to keep this thread civil and on topic.

Good luck with your puppy.

you followed the small advice but totally missed the bigger picture

huskies are a NORTHERN BREED and are built for the COLD. they are totally wrong a for person who want to keep the dog outside in the SOUTH HEAT

im sorry but we can't just ignore that this dog is going to suffer. Summer is coming, and that dog has a double coat built for below freezing temperatures..

Its not that I have a problem with you Doggie. I just DONT agree with this choice

I know you wanted a puppy, I know how that feels, but your an ADULT. the responsible thing to do for a real dog lover, would be to wait til your life was well suited for a dog. or AT THE VERY LEAST get a breed that is suited for living outdoors in those temperatures

instead, you pick a breed who is the very opposite of that. huskies are DRIVEY, they need mental and physical stimulation, that dog is going to get bored being out there alone, and is going to bark ,dig, jump etc..
not to mention suffering in the summer heat.

Im sorry doggie. I know you really wanted a dog and really wanted to fit in here, but im not going to coddle you. I DO NOT agree with this choice, sometimes you have to look passed your wants and realize what is best for the dog.
