Oh yeah...one more nit picky thing- cardigans are NOT well mannered dogs LOL they are hellions and they will take over your house if you let them. ;)

Think of cardigans like this- a 30 lb dog that could move a 1,000 lb cow to where it WANTED the cow to go... these are willful, dwarfed dogs.

But that's also why i love them. :D

There is a danger of putting inaccurate information out there.

Based on that guide, someone might go out and get an APBT for a guard dog, or get a Papillon with the expectation that because it's small, it doesn't need much exercise. Or when they want a dog with low coat maintenance and end up with a dog that sheds like mad and mats easily? What happens to the dogs don't when they don't meet their expectations?

Now people shouldn't be looking at one breed guide and saying "Yeah, that's the one I want. I'm getting one tomorrow." But people also tend to read something and immediately accept it as true. :D

Sounds about like how I'd describe a pemmie. :D

Good spotting, nolu. I also noticed that when it was pointed out that a pembroke was pictured as a cardi, the photo was *immediately* taken down. Not a little while after "passing it on," but right after, implying direct access.

I called my cousin and told him what was being said and that there were people getting upset at me because I posted something that I thought wasn't even bad and did it as a favor...I'm really not here to cause any problems guys.

I've been on here for months and posted almost 500 comments..and only have 3 that you noted above that I have begun about this company... :\

I think its fine that you posted it. Its a nice looking site. If you have influence though you should see if you can make the results more accurate. People reading that site, (it looks very legit and professional) will tend to believe it, much to the detriment of dogs.

I'm sorry if I jumped the gun. I noticed a few things I was skeptical about, including the number of threads you've made on this insurance company, but I didn't notice how many posts you had otherwise.

:)

It's ok..I know it's annoying to see spammers, but I promise I'm not one, as you can see the ratio between my posts in general and ones relating to this site...I didn't mean to cause any problems by posting this..thanks for being understanding. :)

Well the chi one is really starting to come together. the 14-18 lifespan is still a bit much tho lol Id say more around 8-12 and that depends on being from GOOD BREEDING (health tested parents etc..)

as for this line..
Some bark, some are temperamental, and others may be timid.

I would change it to:

Without proper training and socialization, some have the tendency to bark a lot, be tempermental and very timid. some of this is also the result of bad breeding

and maybe add something like: "For a friendly, healthy, happy chihuahua, its very important for find a GOOD breeder who health tests their dogs and breeds friendly good representatives of the chihuahua breed.

The Chihuahua club of America website Chihuahua Club of America
is a great place to find quality breeders for you future chi!

The proper temperament of a chihuahua is:

Alert, projecting the "terrier-like" attitudes of self importance, confidence, self-reliance. very devoted to their owners and are sometimes known as "velcro dogs".

Maybe also add a statement about TEACUPS.
there is NO SUCH THING as a teacup chihuahua. Breeders that use this term are ONLY breeding for size and not for health, and these tiny tiny dogs are often times very unhealthy.

Right, but your last six threads have linked back to this website... just tone it down a bit. :) It's in your sig, we see it. I have a business too, but I try to limit the threads I make for it.

I actually want to resurrect the Official AlliePets Thread so I stop making continuous new threads about my business, because my business is not why I'm here. I just know many Chazzers like my work and have been my clients, so I like to keep them posted (you guys rock, btw. Have I said that lately?)

I would remove all of that from anything breed specific. It holds true for ALL dogs...well except for the good breeder part of it when talking about mutts. ;)
