Or do you live with other pets?

I don't know if many people outside of those I know in real life know that I have cats, two of them. They're 16 years old (not littermates but less than a month apart in age). I adore them but I don't tend to talk about them like I do my dogs. I didn't live with them last year (my roommate AND the homeowner were allergic) but they do live with me in my apartment now.

I lived with another dog last year, but I think most people knew about Dodge.

I don't have any other pets. I live with 4 other pets.

There are 3 cats: one fat grey one, one fat tabby one, and one fluffy one. I dunno, they sleep a lot... I hate that they use litter boxes in places where I have to walk by.
There is also a dog, maisy, Merlin really likes her. She is a shepherd lab mix kind of orange thing.
I like the whole "lots of pets but they aren't my responsiblity" other than the litter boxes I frikin hate those.

Maisy plays well with Merlin (and having another dog in the house means having another dog person who is always open to walk and feed and stuff)
and I like the occasional cat petting session.

Just a pair of Zebra Finch, occupying my old Lorikeet's cage. The little hen was actually near death when she was given to my sister. Apparently someone gave her to my sister's neighbor in a shoebox (that she'd been in for three days) because she was being picked on by the other two finch she was with. Now she has a giant cage and a buddy. I do have an aquarium that needs an occupant.. there's a cactus in it right now.

Why, yes.

My 12.5 year old crotchety old man cat, Jinx

And the 3 rats, Finnick, Poncho, and Reptar (L to R)

It's an old photo, Reptar no longer has a L ear.

I'm not sure why no one else is sharing photos!

Two personal ferrets, and a permanent-foster.. He's mine, I make all choices, rescue pays vet bills.

Renegade is 6 1/2, and my baby boy. He's a challenge, has some serious allergies, plus adrenal cancer.

Ella is 2, and is the evil princess. Shes terrified of everything and everybody, but takes comfort in biting toes.

Nacho is 6 1/2 - 7, and couldn't care less about me. He's my moms boy through and through. My dad rescued him, he has stomach cancer.

Yup. I have a dwarf hamster and a rat.

My parents have five cats that I obviously lived with before I moved out. My parents household has seen guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters of all sizes, mice, ferrets, a short tailed opossum, a crested gecko, parakeets, a cockatiel, a multitude of fish, some african dwarf frogs, and a tortoise. Most of those were mine. :p

So yes, I am used to living with quite a lot of other animals. It is really weird for me only have two dogs and the two rodents right now. If I had a perfect household, I'd have two dogs, a dwarf hamster, two ferrets, and a kitty. ^.^

Oh, pictures. Yea.

Old Man Julius, the patriarch at 16. (He's an orange Julius, see?)

Raggs. She's not so smart, but sweet as can be. She's 14.

Gertie Touch-Me-Not. She is 13.

Solo, the Bottle Brat. He's 11, and he loves tennis balls.

Pancake, Former Stray and the new addition. He was brought in by a Good Sam and came home with me where he is still recovering in the bathroom from a broken pelvis (probably HBC) until he can be integrated into the household. He's probably around 2 or so.

Magic, who is about 24 years old and has been with me all those years. Smug mofo.

I even have a picture of Little Cat, the successor to Big Cat who died last year (at 15 years old, believe it or not).

Yep. Cats, seven of them. Birds..a Starling, a Beebee Parakeet, two Cockatiels, and a pair of Diamond Doves. Fish tanks, one of which houses a pair of axolotls.

I don't know that I would have anything other than dogs in the future. The birds I have are kind of it, hopefully they will be around another 15-20ish years. More than likely no more cats.

Mr. Limpett, my betta, lives in my kitchen in his two gallon tank.

We have a 100 gallon saltwater tank that we keep sinking money into and is currently housing a clownfish (black) and a sea hare, plus a group of hermit crabs & snails.

And I have a 24 gallon saltwater nano in my room that has crabs, snails, and is growing pods for my future mandarin goby.

In addition to the dogs, I have a chinchilla and a cat.

Murfee, the brat-cat:

Roo, who was in need of a dust bath in the second picture:

My mom also has a cat; he's 18 years old. I don't have any picture of him, though :(

Currently, I have four cats. In the past, I've had lots of chickens, ducks, and fish.

Destiny - 12 year old seal point Siamese mix
Angel - 11 year old brown tabby and white DLH
Oden - ? year old senior red tabby DLH
Possum - ? year old senior black and white DLH

I really love these cats but after they're gone, I probably won't be getting more for a while. :(

Ha, I say that and watch me find a couple kittens or something.

I know you have cats! I've read your posts about them.

I live with a V and a GSD mix.

I have a bunny whoose name is Snoopy. ;) He's pretty cool, but can annoy the heck out of me. He gets pissy that I put him in his cage while I'm not home or while we're asleep and knocks everything over. -.- Even his litter box.
