Have you ever been around someone that is just plain DIRTY! Wears the same dirty cloths for months like ( 12 months ) out of the year! If your lucky takes a shower then too.:yikes:

If you were in this position::::: How would you deal with it? Especially since the individual is recognised as a ignorant and nasty ((( Little))) Short minded man! That lights up each and every time you say (((( BOOO ))))! Just looking at this individual he seems to ((((((( EXPLODE )))))))! I guess he is a bit self concious due to the lack of care of his exterior. ((((((((( SICKENING)))))))

The type that knows it all, and can't see and or focus on what he does not know!!! Can you all picture what I deal with each and every day at work! Go figure the boss (((( SAYS ))))) NOTHING!!!!!!!:yikes:

I have had a sort of similar experience but it was with my landlord who was slowly imploding at the time. He has a backstory that makes it kind of understandable but I am not going to go into that here. It's enough to say that his screws were slowly getting looser.

It may be that your boss knows that this person has personal issues that you are unaware of but that he/she is cutting slack for? If you ever do discuss it with your boss, he may just tell you subtly to back off without explaining anything. That's his perogative.

If you go that route IMHO you should take the tack that this person makes you very uncomfortable and you do not like working with him though you are prepared to do so if it goes on record that he has a similar problem with you and a short fuse. No mention of smelly, no mention of dirty.

If I was your boss and you approached me with smelly/dirty I'd immediately wonder what was your personal hang-up with this guy. It's just too personal. On the other hand if you mentioned the short fuse I'd be on my back foot because if anything ever did happen I would be reponsible for not taking action on a situation that an emplyee had already warned me was insupportable.

I had this problem once. I went to my boss and simply told her - he has some hygeine issues and it is making everyone very uncomfortable and hesitant to be around him. She immediately had a little chat with him, and explained that his appearance and hygeine were not appropriate for the work environment and he needed to keep himself more orderly. Problem solved.

Yes this is totally discusting!!!! Buddy touched my chair today, not once but 5 or 6 times! Then stood on a box over top of my computer, so the smell could be sent directly at me! I was about to say! Get down your losing friends, but instead I held my fingers to my nose and waited till he left!

There is no excuse for not washing, and or changing cloths!!!!!! We are to be professionals at this firm, and by no means (((( Little )))) ((( Stinky )))) has lost us major accounts!

Sure, I can say its a personal issue for me, I have to work right beside him. It's the finacial loss that concerns me the most! We lose money, I lose my job and here we go again! What to do??????

I wish it were that simple here! The boss knows whats going on, its been brought up in many board meetings and buddy does not even give a dame! I think it was at our Christmas banquet that he cleaned up! Thats the only time in 3 years! I couldn't stand myself! (((( SICK SICK SICK ))))

Back home it actually says in work "contracts" that you are expected to shower and be presentable for work and that odors are offensive.

A co-worker and I noticed a regular customer seemed to always wear the same shirt. We decided a day 27 to stop counting the smell was HORRID ! We then decided after a couple more weeks to kick him out. I am not exaggerating either. He was not homeless and had the money to gamble so I see no excuse.

Yes there should be a claus that states that here! Its amazing this person, has all the education in the world. Colleges, Universities on and on! But I think his mom forgot to teach him how to clean himself!

Well gots to go, ((((( Little Stinky Man is back at his computer)))) and here comes the boss. My luck I'd get fired for being on chaz dumping a load of dirty laundry!!!:yikes: That might affect our business skills! I wish I could find a better job, one that carries edicate and expects 200 % from the employee's rather than freaked up stinky peaple! ((((( GROSS ))))):spam:

Exactly the way it should be! If I owned this business I'd have banned the freak I work with long ago! Picture it: Opps I'll be back!

Sounds like my ex roomie 3rd year uni. If she washed clothes she didn't dry them. She smelled.. Big girl who avoided showers looked endlessly crusty. I moved...

Uggh.. I had a friend with questionable hygiene--not nearly so bad, but played sports and hated showers, so yeah. The good news was, she always listened to me, so when I told her she needed a shower she'd go take one.. and I wasn't forced to be around her.

Good for you.. working from home sounds nice :D
