So let me introduce myself. My name's Alan, currently living alone in a tiny apartment in the city of only a little over 300 sq ft.
Just adopted two dogs from the local rescue centre. The last time I heard the vet read their history from the computer, it said they were shy of people, and that's true.
The short-haired one with the sad eyes is 3 year old Emily, a sloth in the disguise of a dog. I've only heard Emily bark twice so far and the most active thing she ever does is put her front paws on me. She is more interested in wanting me all to herself than food.
The wiry-haired one with the wild confused eyes is 2 year old Jessica, a bag of fright, anxiety and bursting energy armed with razor sharp teeth. The leader among the two unless I am in the vicinity to upset the balance. She is more interested in wanting Emily all to herself and not interested at all in my absence and no liking of me touching her.

I've not had a dog for a long time since I was a kid, and these two are quite problematic, so hope I can get help here!
