I'm having a problem with my puppy (he's 4 months old) he's on meds for a kidney infection been on them for a week has to take those for another week!!!! anyways I notice this morning he's scooting his butt on the floor could the meds be causing constipation or could his glands be bothering him? he hasn't done #2 this afternoon he did go this morning just a little.............he ate good tonight usually when I give him his supper he wants out to do #2 but not tonight!! I let him out just incase but nothing happen.
He's currently laying around like he feels bad he's usually bouncing off the walls (he's a Jack Russell terrier) so this isn't the norm for him.

I'm worried about him can someone give me some advise!:(

scooting his butt on the floor could mean he has worms, has your puppy been wormed?

he may just be constipated from the medication, this would explain him
not feeling energetic

I've never heard of a puppy that young with gland probloms

Yep, he was worm right before his kidney infection ordeal!! and past a few of those nasty thangs!!! I don't think its worms maybe the meds??
What can I give him if he's constipated?

try some plain yogurt with live cultures (for example stonyfield farm or horizon organic) or canned pumpkin, but make sure it's 100% pumpkin, not the spiced pie filling mix.

also, walking him instead of just letting him out may help, since the exercise stimulates the bowels.

poor baby, i hope he'll feel better soon!!!
