A girl on my chihuahua forum made a post saying that the way to tell the difference between a purebred and a mixed breed is a to look at the color of their gums. Purebreds always have pink gums, and mixed breeds always have black spotted gums So, if your purebred has pink and black gums, they are actually mixed with something else! Her vet told her this, and she trusts her vet. Her vet also told her to breed her 3lb chihuahua (I made a post about this under breeding).
She won't listen to me that this is obviously false information, and now a whole bunch of other people believe this as well.
Just wanted to give everyone a good laugh!
