So what are the dogs/cats in your life getting?

I've got no idea what to get the poochs. I don't want to just get "another collar and leash" I want something that will actually benefit them.

hmmm actually, I haven't thought about the pets yet.... everybody needs a new collar and most need new leashes... and of course the usual garbage bag full of toys. We fill it up, and dump it on the floor Xmas day... their eyes get really big and they launch themselves into the pile of fun.

I have to leave Lucy on Christmas :( Hubby and I are flying home to be with my family for the week, so Lucy's staying with his parents.

I'm sure she'll be plenty spoiled there though :)

Bamm will probably get a new collar... ya I know he has a few, but still... and a new crate. I want to get him an oversized crate so he can have more stretch out room. I may get him a little box to keep all his toys in.

Goober will probably be getting a cat stand hopefully... he loves those. I may get him a new collar as well.

Both will be getting stockings full of goodies on top of that.

The pets will suffer this X mas just like us. We don't have to0 much money this year (Considering my mom bought a new house, so now she is paying two house payments that me and my brother are helping her with). Everyone's just getting one semi good gift from me this year (usually I get a bunch of things for everyone), and I don't know what my mom's doing this year.

I can take 20 bucks and buy the dogs some dollar store toys. They would appreciate that. No new collars. Will they care? No. They could care less considering don't don't know whats going on!!

I dont know yet...

Jet will probably get a new collar or an oversize bone.
Bear will possibly get a haircut and a couple of toys.
And I would LOOOOVE to get Bear a Paco collar BUT I needs money for that.
Peanut might get a scratchy post and/or some kitty toys.

I'm pretty broke at the moment, so getting the dogs gifts isn't high on my priority list unfortunately. I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to afford stuff for family.

If I do have some extra money after I get the family gifts though, the dogs will probably get some sort of toy each just so they have something.

Meg's "Christmas present" (I will probably break down and give it to her right away) is going to be these new cat toys (cat shaped, not for cats) that meow that came in at my favorite pet store. I'm going to get one tomorrow...and then see how long I can hold off giving it to her.

I'm thinking that for the sort of distant family members, who generally just send me a small gift certificate to Barnes and Noble or something, I may ask for gift certificates to Paco so I can finally get Meg a nice leather collar. It's one of those things that I have wanted for a long time, but haven't been able to justify the expense. It'll be a big after-Christmas treat for both of us!

Christmas wish for Eve - sheep.

Christmas reality for Eve - stuffed sheep.

Really, if I could buy livestock next month, I would. I can think of nothing that she'd enjoy more. But, alas, sheep are expensive. =(

I can probably get you some sheep, but I don't think they ship sheep. :(

He'll just get a bunch of little toys, maybe I'll get him some new shampoo or something. He loves baths.
