Duck pictures would be good to! They are all such characters. They all have names tee hee. I love the little clucky cooing noises they make. I wish I could speak hen LOL. They are always pleased to see you (OK part of that is cupboard love) and when I had a hen who was quite literally getting a bit hen pecked by the others she used to come running toward me and fly up into my arms for protection. Everyone is getting along with everyone else now but its nice that the ones who have relied on me here and there for stuff are still very very friendly. The picture is of me and Yetta.
Don't have any chickens but I do love watching them - they're so funny.
A stable I boarded at years ago had three Polish roosters (Mike, Spike & Ike). They were the 'watch' chickens. If anyone new showed up, there they were - huddled in a little group, casting beady looks at the person while discussing the situation. They also liked to comment on the horseshoer's skills, closely watching everything he did and probably pointing out any mistakes...
