FYI, I know nothing about boxers. But, when I was looking for a keeshond puppy, the first thing I did was hit the breed club of America website for a list of breeder referrals.
Then, out of those, I chose the breeder I thought would be best for me, and waited about a year to get a puppy.
I suggest doing something similarly. A year is a good span to prepare for a pup- baby gates, chew toys, crates, the first vaccines, all the food, the grooming supplies...shew!
Crazy fun times! Keeps us updated and make sure to post lots of pics!
Depending on what you want a pup for, pet or showing, I would first contact your local kennel club, and boxer breed clubs. Try to find out wheh some shows are on and meet breeders. Or if it is a pet you want then how about rescue.
if you buy from a breeder be absolutely certain they do thorough cardiac testing. the breed is absolutely rife with heart problems and they are no fun to deal with.
