I bought Brady a pool today. It is one of those big kiddie pools. We filled it up while Jenny was over and of course she wallowed in it. She looks just like a seal when she does that. She is a sleek chocolate lab and she will just lie in the pool and blow bubbles. Brady stands over her and drinks about half of the water in the pool. They love it, but I love it because it helps to keep them cool on hot days. Plus I know Brady has plenty of water. He is getting groomed on Monday to get rid of some of that hair so he will be a little cooler in the summer. I will take a pic of him after he gets it done.

My three love a pool. I've got to replace theirs. After three years it's a little worse for the wear, lol! Bimmer loves to cool off in it, and the two grrrrls have a huge time splashing, blowing bubbles and doing their version of snorkelling. And they can really splash with those giant webbed paws of theirs!

Before too long Brady will be lolling around in the water with Jenny. She'll even have him snorting bubbles too! Have you tried throwing toys that will sink to the bottom and letting Jenny retrieve them? It's hysterical to watch Shiva and Kharma do that.

Well, actually the other day I gave Brady an empty jar of peanut butter (he likes to lick the remains out) and Jenny got a hold of it today and threw it in the pool and it sunk. I kept telling her to get it, and she would stick her face down there and come back up without it, and I said get it girl, get it, and she stuck it her face down there and came up with it and came trotting over to me like "I did it, I did it!" I told her what a good girl she is. Then I was throwing a tennis ball in there because Brady won't stick his face all the way in and the tennis ball floats and he kept getting that, and I told him what a good boy he was and once I told him that he kept throwing it back in himself and getting it back out and looking at me like "I am such a good boy." They amuse me so much. I love those dogs.

Shiva's got a bright orange heavy plastic stick with all sorts of neat textures that she likes to carry around. It's a tube, actually, so it sinks beautifully, lol. She's so proud of herself when she fishes it off of the bottom of the pool. Kharma, being Kharma, will feint at it like she's going to get it when I throw it in, which ensures that Shiva goes after it, then when Shiva's got it and is blinking the water out of her eyes, Kharma snatches it and takes off with it. She's rotten, lol!

I missed you guys too!!! I've been packing, because I'm moving in a week....so, if I disappear again, it's because my computer is being packed up! I'll be back after the move though!!

Yes, that is exactly what I got. I got mine from Wal-mart (the bigger one not the smaller one) for $9.98.

Rookie loves his pool! He loves to go around and around sticking his head in the water and blowing bubbles. It is so cute! I got my pool at Petsmart. He usually goes through about two a year. :) Poor thing...he get's so hot because he is black. The pool seems to keep him cool. Oh...took Rookie out in the boat this past weekend. He loved it. We could only keep him out for a little while...the sun was killing him. He put his paws on the dash and stick his head up over the windshield. I'll try to get some pictures next time.
