Certainly doesn't sound innocent if he had grenades and guns and was shooting at cops. On the other hand, I want to know WHY and if he's dead we'll never know.

So scary, too close to home. My brother who lives in Boston is thankfully on vacation in another country, and my home is outside of the lock down area, but it still feels far too close. On the one hand I'm glad I'm in maine at school but on the other I wish I was home with my family.

I always hate how whenever this kind of stuff happens there is always someone going on about "Oh yeah, why you all freaking out about this? WHAT ABOUT ALL THE OTHER STUFF THAT IS GOING ON AND BEING IGNORED? HUH? This is a joke comapred because only x amount of lives were lost."

Its like REALLY? They are all awful. If you think another situation deserves attention TALK about it. But that doesn't mean this isn't a big deal too.

During the news briefing the MA police said whatever is happening in Watertown is NOT related to the marathon bombing. So what the heck is going on? Military copters are flying over the area, cops are in people's backyards with guns trained on houses... and of course the media is still reporting that they are looking for the second suspect there.

Listening to scanner, they say this is now a hostage situation. A girl texted her mother said she was being held by a man with a gun. Major vibes this ends without more bloodshed (on our end, anyway).

reddit feed says that hostage was actually someone scared of a police officer with a gun.

Additionally I don't want the suspect to die, I want more than a quick death by gun fire. This is all too confusing without more.
