Thanks everyone!!! So hard to believe that I have my dream job at 26 years old. Now what?? LOL

Is that different than the incredible dog team?
There are two types of trainers that work for Purina. I am going to be one of the main trainers that stays at Purina Farms and does shows on site with the occasional traveling gig. I will also be going to local schools and doing shows to promote safe kid/dog interactions. The second type is the trainer that just does traveling promotions, so they aren't a full time employee, rather just called upon when needed.

Also, you can have Penny. She'll just run away at the start line but my god. She'll do it quickly ;)
Hahahahhahaha! Educational demos are important right?

Are you required to own a certain number of dogs?
I need a team of six dogs plus subs. I have 3 currently and will be adding dogs as I find them.

Wait, does that mean Blinker stays? Or are you counting the promising one as one? lol
I am meeting with a little red heeler that already has an awesome foundation in tricks and disc. So plug and play. ;) Blinker will not be staying, he doesn't have the drive needed for a job like this, with a little work though, he's going to be tons of fun!

Major congrats!

(I will say that I will miss the "What are you doing on this boring Friday" threads. :p)
I'm sure those will still happen! Especially in the winter when the farms are closed.

Our Nationals in 2012 was there and the facilities just look awesome. I was half tempted to break in and use an agility field I saw all set up but figured I shouldn't :p

Seriously, that job seems a thousand times more exciting/interesting than mine and my job ROCKS. It's amazing to wake up and be pumped to go to work every day :)
I'm already pumped to go to work everyday, this is just going to be so much better!!

That agility field was probably the one at the Pet Center and where the shows are held.

Woot woot congrats!!!!!!
Neighbors!!! You are going to have to show me all the cool places to go hiking!

WOW! that is awesome. Congrats, when do you start? When are you going to be on TV? Are you going to forget about us when you're a star? :)
I will be starting at the beginning of April. And not for a long time! Don't think I'm camera ready. ;) And yes, I already forgot about you all, who are you!?

I had the same questions! Lol also, is there a snazzy uniform??
Super snazzy uniforms!

Just so freaking amazing Sara! I'm so happy and proud of you. You totally deserved it and are going to completely rock at it. And I'm really gonna need to come visit you (Seriously, how does it manage being pretty much the exact same distance away from me?)

Just, so great and I know the interview process was super stressful and long but holy cow you nailed it. Can't wait to see what you do!
Linds, you offer the best support of anyone. Thanks so much. :)

That means you're closer to me. And you have Koolies. We're going to have to meet up at some point lol
Of course!! I'm going to miss my current chaz locals so much, someone has to pick up that slack!

That must suck, having a job where adding MORE dogs is a requirement??? I was halfway jealous, now that I know that? pffffttttttt :D

what kind are you looking for :)

And yes, I already forgot about you all, who are you!?
Remember, you introduced me to your screaming seagull and taught me your super secret photog pose? I should have let my dogs bite you, then maybe you'd have remembered

Mostly heeler or heeler crosses. But it has to be the right dog! :D

Hahahah, keep that pose a secret! Nobody must know.

Are Zuma and Zinga going to be part of the team, or do you have to find 6 completely new dogs? Sounds so exciting, I'm so happy for you :D
