So I made a thread about my parents taking him into the E-vet. I got a call about 20 minutes ago from my mom and I guess Badger has cancer in his knee. The vet says he does not have a long. My mom quoted me a week. He is one tons of pain meds right now so he is not in any pain. And the vet said she would come to out place to send him over the bridge whenever we are ready.

I am in total shock right now because it just come out of nowhere, but I guess that happens sometimes. I just cant stop shaking right now. EFFF!!!

I am so sorry. :(

Not to sound insensitive, but can't they amputate and remove the cancer?
I dont think so. I believe the cancer has also spread to his lungs. And he is in alot of pain my parents dont want to put him through further pain, I wish it was that easy. I dont know the full story yet because I am away from home until tomorrow, but I will let you guys know.

Thanks everyone.

We put Badger to sleep yesturday night. He was not eating or drinking and he could not get up on his own anymore. He was also in constant pain. The vet came to my place to PTS which made is so much easier one him and us.

Oh and ZOOM my parents did ask the vet about amputation, but because Badger has hip dyslatia as well as arthritis in his hips he would not be able to carry all the weight on his one leg.
