I like Sarah Leigh, isn't the cheesecake people Sara Lee? Completely different sounding to Sarah.
I pronounce Sara and Sarah both the same so to me they sound identical, plus I haven't decided for sure which spelling I prefer. But I still haven't ruled it out.

Just found out my husband also doesn't like unisex names, so Riley is out now anyways as well as a few more I had on my list.

While the names that start with Anna/Ana are pretty, I have bad associations with someone from the past that the name reminds me of so it just doesn't click for me.

Isabella is probably one of the most popular female name out there now because of Twilight so I wouldn't want to use that or anything that sounds like it. Which is a shame, because I think Bella is an adorable nickname. Unfortunately by the time she'd be in school there would be 10 other kids with the same name in her class :p

Now I'm curious how else you would pronounce Sarah/Sara--everyone I've known of either spelling pronounces their name the same way!

I like very traditional names. Charlotte, Madeline, Megan...any of which I think would sound good with the middle name "leigh"

I also like Leeanne or Leigh Ann.

Julie is a pretty name. Not sure it goes with Lee, but Julia would work with Lee.

Caroline.

Eleanor.

Well Sara is more like Zara, Sah-Rah, whereas Sarah is Say-Rah, or in England it would be Seh-Rah.

My husband is so picky.. Erin was another name I was pretty seriously considering, and that's been eliminated now because it has a male counterpart that is pronounced the same regardless of the different spelling (Aaron for boys). He also doesn't want the middle name to be any variation other than Lee/Leigh. So making it Leanne or something to that effect is out too.

I'm not upset with him for being picky, because it's an important decision as she'll have to live with this name for her entire life. But so far he's given me one suggestion, which he's ended up eliminating himself because of his no unisex names preference.

Guess he never realized that Allison was originally a boys name a long time ago XD

Thanks for all the suggestions so far though, unfortunately nothing that meets his criteria has jumped out at me yet.

Just do what my mum did when I was named.... Just pick the name and tell him afterwards.

I love talking about names in different countries :p Erin and Aaron are said completely differently here! Funny how things are so different.

Hmm, Cora, Ada, Eva, Evan, Avery, Etta, Hedda

We had a really small list of girl's names before we had Clive (none were the above, though). Apparently girls names are hard..
