im currently possibly getting a deaf dane puppy but if it turns out this puppy isnt deaf i think im going to go with my 3rd love, a typical silly staffy puppy...(i like the bully breeds and have plenty of experience with staffies amstaffs and pitties..., but im british from staffordshire so naturally i had an affinity for the breed and thier personality just made me fall in love...)
course im now in america where a good true english type staffy can be difficult to find, but there well worth the extra worht to find one...(and the extra pennys too!)
but yeah, being there such a few and far between dog over hear id love to know of other people owned by staffies (cause lets face it...you have a staffy...they rule your heart forever!)
im hoping to find a black male with a white chest, i dunno what it is about this colour combination but its sooo very stunning...(i like blue and whites, black and whites and brindles too but the primarily blacks are gorgeous!)
its been about 5 years since i was around a staff, and since im not planning on breeding ill be having my staffy fixed at the earliest and safest possible age...(around 5-6 months is suggested by my vet but id love to know your siggestions)
and also anyone having experience with staffies, whats a neutered males personality towards other dogs (assuming well socilized and well trained and 100% supervised?) i breed chis and of course the staffy would never be around the chis unsupervised, if for no other reason than the staffies size and strength.
the reason i ask is because id love to train the dog and get its good citizen (part of the test involves dog agression) so i can take him into childrens hospitals as a pet therapy dog (these guys are soo good with kids i think a staff would be perfect!)
theres also the possiblity if he picks up on my epilepsy that ill self train him to be a seizure alert and responce dog...which again, dog agression is a no no...
i just love hearing eeryones anecdotes and experiences with this breed!
