I had a meeting with clients at 4:30 yesterday. Since Brutie had been in the pool I wanted to stay close to him, so I had my clients come to the house. I have worked with this couple off and on for the last two years. Lovely people. After the paperwork was done they wanted to meet Brutus. I let him out of the study (he and Roxie were in there with Keith) and he and I go into the breakfast room to meet them. After a few minutes of sitting by me, Brutus decided he wanted to meet them. So, the petting begins. First the husband then the wife. As they are getting ready to leave, the wife is still petting Brutus. She is standing up, Brutus is sitting down. Brutus takes his front leg and grabs her leg, she is still petting him. Then he takes his other front leg and wraps it around her leg. She is still petting him. He is still sitting, but the hind end is slowly moving back and forth. I was mortified. She was telling him what a good boy he was and had no idea what he was doing. I wanted to yell, Brutus stop humping my client. However that would have made matters worse. So I leaned over him, like I was giving him a hug and firmly whispered in his ear. Stop it. He immediately quit. I got them out the door as quickly as I could, smiling all the way. I have never considered cutting off every male part of his anatomy until that moment. I was so embarrased.
