Im so mad
I just got home from walking all the dogs with my sister, she had sophie and daisy, and I had buster which i have been, as you know, walking twice a day for the last three weeks, working on his agression problem.
On the way to our walking path, we have to go through a small area with fenced dogs on each side. Yes, fenced, well their are 2 pups, a cattle dog and something that looks like a shorthaired border collie, working dogs that need lots of excercise.
They are VERY agressive and get quite vicoius whenever we walk past, well today, they had got out. Immediatley all their bristlezs went up and they started getting really agressive. it was the most i could do just to hold onto buster let alone try to call him off. They didnt get to close but they were snarly and everything. They went up near my siste and tried to have a go at daisy (she smaller than our cat) but wouldnt get to close becasue sophie (huge) was their.
Luccky sophie a good judge of character and doesnt start fights, she just finishes them. She accidently bit a womans hand once, but that was in the corse of saving daisy, who was being attacked by a red heeler, it was a bad jdge ment on both our parts, she had her dog off a lead, and our gates were open, ready to back the car open, so their was no fuss
anyway, back to today, finally the woman came out and got them back inside, but to late for busters training, on the way back he was completley physco, i went back a few times and started the street again, but as soon as i turned around and stared walking back, he shot out again, im hoping its only temporary because i dont want 3 weeks training, hours of work to go down the toilet. It makes me so mad.
You get a working dog, expect them to need excercise, socialise them and if they are agressive, make sure THEY DONT GET OUT. today could have been a lot worse.
Sorry this is long but im so angry!!!
