Add me to that list!

The weird thing is that I've hung out with my husband and my ex at the same time during college (and we all got along) so I'll have dreams that have both of them at the same time. Nothing dirty- get your minds out of the gutter :p

I haven't seen my ex for 6 (I think?) years and we used to keep in touch more (about our only contact is Facebook and birthday texts now), so it's strange when he still pops up in a dream.

These are the things I keep telling myself. But on the other hand, he isn't a bad guy and after these two semesters are over he's agreed to move out there with me. But his ex is clearly insane and I don't like being told I have to play nice with her when she's done nothing but manipulate and try to ruin our life. So, throw away a relationship that has some potential for the off-chance of finally doing something for myself, or just wait out the two semesters and then move on with him instead of without him, knowing I still have that backup plan should things stay south? Decisions, decisions.

Side vent: Because of all this BS I am a smoker for the time being. Regular cigs are sorta nasty but the e-cigs with Watermelon and Mocha flavored water vapor are a bit too much to pass up. And they are way cheaper than regular cigs. And don't stink. I smell like watermelon candy. I can deal with this.
Don't even get in a relationship for a year!! You have gone through a lot and need to just be you and learn to love you. Find out why you are choosing men that are no good for you.

Add me to the "dreams about crushes" group. I actually had a dream about a guy friend who used to be a crush last night, what is weird is when I am awake I don't even THINK about him "that way".

My vent: is my Aunt Flow is in town & a new symptom has showed itself, body aches, horrible body aches :(. I also have a taper throat so maybe it's just something else that had bad timing :/

Yup. Get out now. It's NEVER going to end, she's going to sabotage your relationship over and over again. You are too young to throw your hat into that crazy pit.
This. So much this.

My cousin actually moved out to Colorado to get herself out of a whole lot of drama and make a fresh start. She's never looked back!

Jack is 7 and has been neutered since he was a year and just recently started scratching the ground after going to the bathroom. Not always, just when he's going where lots of other dogs have been. So I guess my dog who has been neutered for 6 years is "studie" too--lol!

So, the person I had to cover for today, who ruined my 4-day weekend, and now I have no days off for at least 6 weeks?

She's at a ****ing BALL GAME. Not sick. BALL GAME. If she would have told me she wanted to go to a ball game, I probably still would have worked for her today. But to lie and say you're sick? That's bullshit. If you're going to lie, you should probably be careful what you post on Facebook.

ETA: I just googled this ball game. It's 5 hours away. Yesterday she told me at 11am that she didn't feel good, but she was going to go home and try to sleep it off. Then at 10:30pm she tells me she felt worse and couldn't come in to work. YOU BITCH. You could have told me at 11am that you decided to be lazy and go on a road trip instead of come in to work. It would have give me 12 hours more warning. I could have got stuff done instead of think "oh, she'll be fine, I won't have to go in." Ugh. I hate people. How does anyone think this is oaky? How does anyone even come up with this idea? What if I was out of town, since, you know, I was supposed to have a four day weekend? Ugh. I am SO glad Friday is her last day at work.

I'm gonna go tell Squash that he's not allowed to chicken scratch anymore. That b@st@rd is neutered! :p

I should probably tell Gavroche this too...
I know, right? He has always scratched at the ground. Always.

He doesn't hump or mark inside. All he does is scratch. I told the husband that, that was the dumbest thing I had heard yet that day (but it was still early)

I just found out that my ex and his wife (my former best friend) are naming their son a name I had picked out right down to the spelling. A name I came up with for a roleplay character of mine. A name he used for characters in video games....a name at one point when me and him were thinking about kids was going to be the name for OUR first born son if we ever had kids.

This bothers me more then it should....but it's not that I'm still in love with him. It's that he's using MY name....just UGH!

Which is why now I'm a bitch, and I often don't cover for people when it is during my scheduled time off.

My mom told me today that I have to neuter Hudson RIGHT AWAY because he acts to stud doggy. He was scratching at the ground.
Well, Happy is most definitely a spayed female and she is one of the worst dogs I've met when it comes to that. :p She's ruining our backyard with the big chunks of grass she takes out lol.

What is with our neutered boys? Gambit is doing it too, but in the most dramatic fashion you can image. Think drag queen chicken scratch.

My vent. There is a whippet at work whose owner has a history of doing the buy and dump routine. He is now four months old. I let the vet know that if the owner wanted to give him up that I would be interested. Owner called last week, in tears, she just can't cope with him blah, blah, blah (she's a nice lady but super high mantainance). I told her that I would take him, but that she had to be 100% sure she wanted to surrender because it wasn't fair to the three of us otherwise. She's been dithering for a week about it. I like the pup, and I do want him, but its time to either defecate or abdicate, lady.

At this point, if he comes, he comes. If not, I hope she can handle him long term
